I was born in late December to a virgin, in a cave. My parents names translate to "Joseph" and "Mary" and Joseph was descended from royalty. 3 wise men knew that the star was telling them I was born, and my birth was announced by angels and witnessed by shepherds. Not much is known about my life between the ages of 12 and 30, but I was baptized at 30 by a guy who was beheaded. I walked on water, cast out demons, and healed the blind with my 12 disciples following me. I delivered a "Sermon on the Mount," and was crucified with thieves. After I died, I descended to hell for three days before rising again on "Easter." What is my name?

Actually, there is no proof that Jesus was born in December. A lot of pagan festivals eventually became Christian holidays, because the missionaries had to make Christianity as palatable as possible to the pagans they wished to convert. For that reason, the Roman festival Saturnalia, which was celebrated in December, eventually became Christmas. And if I remember correctly, the name of the holiday Easter comes from the name of an Anglo-Saxon fertility goddess.

I'm not a christian but I can't help myself....
Jesus was born some time around April according to astrologers who analyzed what stars where in the sky around that time...
Catholics did not like the fact that Pagans where still participating in the celebration of the winter solstice...so they devised a plan to make that day the day Jesus was born in order to 'trick' them into participating in their celebration...Same with Easter...Summer soltice....
