JESUS (PBUH) SAID, "THE DAY THAT I DIE", not "THE DAY THAT I DIED"
It is mentioned in Surah Maryam, Chapter 19 verse 33
"So Peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die and the Day that I shall be raised up to life (again)".
[Al-Qur'ân 19:33]
The Qur'ân mentions that Jesus (pbuh) said "Peace is on me the Day I was born, the day that I die". "It is not stated the day that I died". It is in the future tense and not in the past tense.

JESUS (PBUH) WAS RAISED UP ALIVE
The Qur'ân further says in Surah Nisa, Chapter 4 verse 157-158:
"That they said (in boast), ‘We killed Jesus Christ the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah’ But they killed him not, Nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not-
Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is exalted in Power, Wise."
[Al-Qur'ân 4:157-158]

Jesus (God) came to this earth as a man and lived and was crucified, for our sins. ( a debt we couldn't pay) On the third day He rose again and is now in heaven where He is prepairing a place for all who believe (trust, follow, cling to, serve) in Him.

Respectfully submitted, Allah is not the God of the Bible. The Jesus of the Qur'ân is not the Jesus of the Bible. He was not a prophet, He is God.

The Quran is clear on who God is and who He is not. There is no room left for doubt after reading the Quran in the Arabic languge: God is One. He is the only Creator, Sustainer and Owner of the Universe. He has no partners. He has no relatives; wives, children or offspring. He is not like His creation and He does not need it for His existance, while all the time the creation is totally dependent on Him. His attributes are clearly spelled out as the epitome of each and every one. He is for instance, the All-Knowing; the All-Hearing; the All-Seeing; the All-Forgiving; the All- Loving; the All-Merciful; the Only One God. There is never a contradiction to this found anywhere in the Quran.

Okies, I'll go along with the fact that Jesus said it, although I'm not a Muslim, sorry. But I guess the question is then - when did Jesus say that? If it was before He was crucified, then okay, makes sense.

So now I am a bit lost... does the Qur'an say that Jesus was not killed by the jews? I am a bit lost. I have the Qur'an at home but it is in Arabic and I don't speak Arabic so I can't read it.

Kind of follows the christian theory, doesn't it, since in neither religion does Jesus actually get killed off. And both are offshoots of Judaism which states that the messiah will come .
