Yar----the people are taking action. And there is more of us than Government..

Relax and remember what truly makes a change. Americans have a good history of what they can do. They come from a strong line of all different nationalities and they have a good goal.

Vietnam, violating every single treaty we ever made with the Indians, putting Americans of Japanese ancestry in orison camps, breaking all the worlds laws to invade Iraq, passing a Patriot act that is taking away your rights under the constitution, taking from the poor to give to the rich, slavery, sexism, classicism and every other -ISM, continually going to war over big businesses protection and no other reason, is making the US a 2 tier system (rich and poor), failed to respond to repeated warnings the the WTC was going to be hit by aircraft. Gives the wealthy 2 tax cuts but can't raise the minimum wage that has been the same for a decade, and then right after the vote on raising it Congress gets a $3,400 COLA!

Maybe I'll add more later!

Every American is hurt by Illegal Immigrants being here. They don't have to mug you,but they will. They don't have to rob your house, but they will. They don't have to get drunk and run over your kids, but they will. A very large percentage of them after all have little or no respect for the law,why should they,we don't punish them for the laws they've already broken so why not break more? But when you look at the depressing of wages, unpaid taxes on work done in the US,identity theft, welfare fraud, rising crime rates, eroding schools etc. Then we are all the victims of Illegal Immigration, therefore we should all sue. Hispanic/Mexican advocacy groups have done their homework, and they're out to game the US legal system any way they can to squeeze another million bucks' worth of favoritism or benefits out of the american taxpayer that they can. Mexicans etc. aren't alone in this effort, but someone needs to basically step on the whole mess with both feet and tell Mexico to GO HOME.
Mexico's legally responsible for aiding, abetting, and directly encouraging their people to move to the US, and the US can be directly responsible for aiding, abetting, and directly encouraging Mexico to do a 180 on their foreign policy in regards to the United States. More to the point, the VOTERS can do this job, because Congress has kind of let itself go, and they'll more or less go along with whoever's paying the most in payola etc.Fixing the US border starts in Washington, and the more people who'll take the 10 minutes to sit down, write a letter, send an e-mail, make a phone call, or even consider signing up for the Border Patrol, the better.
Mexico has some very expensive internal social problems, so do a lot of other countries, it's time they worked a lot harder on providing benefits and aid to their own citizens rather than expecting the US to do it for them. Rather than watching our medical and educational systems flush themselves down the toilet from overload, it's time to STRONGLY encourage countries like Mexico to provide for their own. If they can't/won't do it, that's a topic for the UN to discuss under the heading of 'global foreign aid', but it's kind of time for the US to NOT be the 'global welfare office' anymore...Mexico can feed/clothe/educate/employ its' own citizens, but they'll take a free ride, if you're offering! LOL

I don't see how this is even a question. The government has failed miserably, and I can't even begin to understand how anyone can ignore such a blatant reality.
