Just in case you were not aware The Catholic and Orthodox Christians Churches are very similar The Etheopian Orthodox Church has The Ark of The Old Covenant.
The New Covenant Church and this is not part of The Question has a New Ark and That Is The Mother of God that is her title because she gave birth to The Incarnate Word of God and She is so honoured. 'The Almighty has done marvels for me, and Holy is His Name.' etc

Revelation 11.9 could well refer to rev 12 also because The New and everlasting covenant made all things new and The Mother of God is considered to be that it is one of Her titles in The Church.

There were many covenants. There is no such thing as a orthodox christian. The Bible only has the word Christian in it 3 times.
The Old orthodox Jews will, accept Jesus Christ and become New Testament Spiritual Jews through Christ, or......bummer.

God's chosen people are the "Spiritual Jews", through Christ. period. There are no exceptions. The New testament has made to abundantly clear.

Great Question. Have a nice week.

"The Ethiopian Orthodox Church in Axum, Ethiopia claims to still possess the Ark of the Covenant. Local tradition maintains that it was brought to Ethiopia by Menelik I following a visit to his father King Solomon. Although it was once paraded before the town once each year, it is now kept under constant guard in a "treasury" near the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion, and only the head priest of the church is allowed to view it."

BAH!

"When the Babylonians destroyed Jerusalem and plundered the temple, the Ark entered the domain of legend. Many historians suppose that the ark was probably taken away by Nebuchadnezzar and destroyed."

If the Ark of the Covenant still exists, it's a mystery why anyone would say "I have it" and not let anyone see it, unless they wanted to attract tourists. Sorry to seem so skeptical, but I despise people who use lies to propogate their agenda.

Peace for ALL!

Excuse me but aren't you prejudiced!!!! The Ark of the Covenant is a vessel to hold The Torah which the Jewish faith believes is a covenant between God and The Jewish faith. It is not anywhere in the Christian religion. If a Christian Church claims to have an Ark of The Covenant then they stole it!!! Very simple. And I wouldn't consider you a Christian anyway.

They don't have the ark of the covenant. That's rubbish. Even if they did now days it would be just a wooden box covered with gold. Worth a lot though.

I highly doubt that the Orthodox Christian Church has the Ark.

they would have put it on display by now or the news would have gotten out that they have it.

something that big can not be kept secret for so long

Goodness gracious, what an event! You should notify the Orthodox hierarchy immediately. I have it on good authority they're not yet aware of your astounding discovery. But don't let that stop you. Just let them know where it is. They'll be ever so grateful for finding out. I am so glad someone finally found it! Good for you!
