what type of allergy causes clicking or cracking noise within the inner ear?

Seems only to affect me for about 3 months of the year and always in spring or summer

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse. Your ears,nose and throat are all connected so what goes up your nose affects the rest of the surrounding areas,it could just be a pollen allergy.Also, a build up of wax causes the same symptoms, this to can be brought on by a pollen allergy. A change in air pressure can also do this.
