Do you like to eat dirt?

I love dirt i dont eat it anymore i did when i was little and it gave me pin worms. I recently found out that i was anemic and they said thats why i love dirt and ice so much. So am i alone? Do you like dirt?

I've never liked to eat dirt, but my doctor said the same thing about me when I was a baby. I would be playing outside and next thing you know, I'd have an anthill in my mouth. The soil has a lot of iron in it. I've been anemic all my life.

Never considered it and found it gross. I am anemic as well and do not desire dirt nor ice. I do not like the mere taste of dirt on lettuce that has not been rinsed well. I have heard of the conditions of which you speak.

Usually when people want to eat things like dirt, paint, ice inside the freezer, it's called pica. I would try taking some mineral supplements. Good luck!

Well, when i was young, someone pushed me to the muddy wet ground. It was terrible. But you're not alone at all. I also like eating ice but not dirt. Dirt is just, BAAGH!! And it has bugs in it you know

Its normal with Anemia, when my iron levels drop, I crave obscene amounts of bread and Ice. I haven't had the craving for dirt though. The condition is called PICA and from what i have read Doctors don't really understand the whys of it. I hope this helps!

Eat dirt?!? How old are you?No offense,but did you try seeing a doctor(and i don't mean a psychiatrist)?I'm not kidding!If this happens to an adult, there are internal disease with such symptom or neurological disorders

i dont really eat it that much only when im riding and it gets in my mouth but i luv ice a lot

no i don't like it. but it's called pica - eating strange substances. see a doctor - could be a sign of a mineral imbalance.

I NEVER ATE DIRT BEFORE, BUT I DID MAKE MY SISTER EAT DIRT AND SHE DIDN'T COMPLAIN.
