By far the best way is to cook it inside it's leafy cover, based on a 650w to 700w oven cook on full power, wrapped in paper towel for 2 minutes for 1, 4 to 5 minutes for 2 6 to 7 minutes for 3 or 8 to 10 minutes for 4. when cooked wrap in tin foil and leave for 5 minutes. Strip off leaves and silky strands to serve in the usual way. Never put salt on corn in the microwave.

Put in a dish, sprinkle a bit of water on it (like 3 Tbsp), cover tightly w/ plastic wrap, poke a couple holes int he center, and nuke about 5-7 minutes, depending upon your m/w's wattage. That's it!

Don't nuke your corn.
Put in in just enough water to cover it, add a teaspoon of sugar, bring it to a boil and go for ten minutes. Turn off and remove from heat.
