You have to figure out what type of benefits you want out of a card and go with that company. Of course they all want your money and will do what it takes to get it. You need to compare and decide whats best for you and what will give you what you want. Not take personall opinions.

Citi Dividend Platinum Select! I guess the interest rate isn't great, but I don't carry a balance so it doesn't matter. You get 5% back on purchases at gas stations, grocery stores, and drugstores, and 1% back on everything else.

I've heard American Express has some good reward cards too.

Advanta is the best I've found. Bank of America is good too.
Avoid blood suckers like Capital 1.
