God did not tell me that the only way to heaven is through Jesus. Many people have told me that, and I do not believe it.
When I stand before God on judgment day (should such a thing occur), I would like to say, "Thank You. I loved living on your earth. I'm sorry I wasn't able to do more to heal your creation while I was there, but I tried, and I think I helped some people and other beings. I'm grateful for everything I learned and experienced. Thank you."

Where does it say that we will all stand before God and be judged? I know of a passage that says the dead will stand in that awful place (God's righteous anger). Not a Word that the living will be there. This might be to complex an idea for the unsaved to follow so let me make it as simple as possible..
1. Physically Dead people don't stand.
2. Spiritually Dead people have separated themselves from God's forgiveness. They must stand before God to be judges according to their works.
3. The Spiritually living have been judged already and Jesus suffered their fate on Calvary. They are washed clean by the blood of Christ. This Great White Throne judgment is not where the living are judged for reward.

Sorry mate but I'm with 'd p' on this one. The simple fact is that anything in the bible that CAN be proven to be incorrect, HAS been proven to be incorrect. The 'Seven Day' thing, Adam and Eve etc. etc. So why should anyone in their right mind believe anything else in it?
What is the main cause of war? It is of course Religion! We have had Irish people killing Irish people...and why? Because some are called Protestant and some are called Catholic!
We have Israeli people and Palestine people killing each other...why? They're the same bloody race!
In the second world war six million Jews were killed...why? because they were Jewish!
All I can hope for is that this planet grows up and rids itself from this mumbo-jumbo called religion before it commits suicide.
But if you're right, and I find myself standing before God on Judgment Day, I will feel compelled to ask him about the points I have made above. I might also ask Him, "Did we really need that Tsunami 18 months ago? Is it so necessary for millions of people to die of starvation in Africa and various parts of the world year after year?" and so on.
Yes, who knows, judgment day for me might be just around the corner. But if it is, I'm really not sure as to who's judging whom.

I suspect that most people have a residue of feeling that Darwinian evolution isn't quite big enough to explain everything about life. All I can say as a biologist is that the feeling disappears progressively the more you read about and study what is known about life and evolution.
I want to add one thing more. The more you understand the significance of evolution, the more you are pushed away from the agnostic position and towards atheism. Complex, statistically improbable things are by their nature more difficult to explain than simple, statistically probable things.
The great beauty of Darwin's theory of evolution is that it explains how complex, difficult to understand things could have arisen step by plausible step, from simple, easy to understand beginnings. We start our explanation from almost infinitely simple beginnings: pure hydrogen and a huge amount of energy. Our scientific, Darwinian explanations carry us through a series of well-understood gradual steps to all the spectacular beauty and complexity of life.
The alternative hypothesis, that it was all started by a supernatural creator, is not only superfluous, it is also highly improbable. It falls foul of the very argument that was originally put forward in its favour. This is because any God worthy of the name must have been a being of colossal intelligence, a supermind, an entity of extremely low probability -- a very improbable being indeed.
Even if the postulation of such an entity explained anything (and we don't need it to), it still wouldn't help because it raises a bigger mystery than it solves.
Science offers us an explanation of how complexity (the difficult) arose out of simplicity (the easy). The hypothesis of God offers no worthwhile explanation for anything, for it simply postulates what we are trying to explain. It postulates the difficult to explain, and leaves it at that. We cannot prove that there is no God, but we can safely conclude the He is very, very improbable indeed.

Thank you Father for your beloved gift of life in and through Jesus the Christ.
Actually only the lost will stand in judgement. The bema seat is where the saints will go for their judgement (if that is what you want to call it). It is where the crowns will be handed out according to the works one has done. These crowns we will then present to Jesus in adoration and gratitude that He made it possible for us to become children of the living God and have eternal life.

I don't actually believe in God but if I am proved wrong then I'll shrug, hold my hands up and accept what's coming.
As I'm often told, "God and only God will judge you and who knows what He has in mind".
He might decide to forgive all non-believers, you never know.

God hasn't told us anything. And if you insist otherwise, you are delusional and a liar.
All you have is an archaic book written by ignorant goat-herders which is read and repeated by other ignorant theists.
A book can not say anything. Only those who read and interpret it can.

I believe we'll also be given a Number, like when you're at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, would it be a 'bad' thing to have the number:666?

Whine, "She made me dooo it!" and then as the projector of my life runs for all to see make Homer Simpson like "dooohs" every so often while slapping my forehead. Of course there'd be some kid in the back going "Ha Ha". But that's ok he's next in the hot seat.
