Religions other than Christianity are religions too...just as much if not - in some cases, more...valid.
So let me get this straight, Timothy Mcveigh went to heaven because he was a Christian and Gandhi went to hell?

Most people who said answered this in disagreement, said 'because Bible says so.'
Don't you think, Quran, Gita, Taote Ching and Dhammapada and all the other religious books would say that their respective religion is the only way to Heaven?
You know Jesus preached in Aramaic, Bible is translated in English form Greek, Latin and other intermediary languages. So there have been at least two translations...don't you think some things got lost or distorted in two or more translations?
May be what Jesus said in Aramaic was not exactly: 'I am the only son of God.'
For example: "Fag" in America means a slang for gay man but in UK means cigerrette.; "Bum' in USA means borrow or a street-person but in UK means, 'buttocks'.
May be Jesus did not know about Buddhism or Shintoism or Hinduism at all or he might have said, "You know ther are plenty of ways to Heaven out there in East but in here I am the only son of God that I know of." Have you ever thought of that?

Well not quiet. I did not know McVeigh was a Christian. The Bible tells us that God makes Himself known to all mankind. Some hear the gospel. Some have never heard of Jesus. God deals with people according to the revelation they each receive. It is far easier to hear the gospel and respond to than some other way-which we no nothing about. Why God chose the Jews we don't know. Why He later chose the Christians we do not know. But there is a God and there is a hell. Worshiping Hinduism or Buddhism or Allah will not get you to heaven.

I put a way religion and that silly bible book long ago! The real truth is that god is a Goddess! A Woman! She is the Great Mother Creatrix! And we need to respect all Females because they are part of Her and Her image! All the Females on Earth will combine in the end and form the image of the Great Mother! We will all then be able to see what She looks like at Her one true identity! Want to test this out for yourself? Just simply ask her to talk to you! and you will see something very noticeable within a day or so that will assure you that She has heard you! Best wishes! JoeyMars..

Why does the moon present the same face to earth all the time. It rotates on its own axis exactly in synchronisation with its orbit around the earth. Thus we never see the opposit side of the moon. How can such perfect synchronisation occur?
Well I'll tell you.
The moon is actually NOT lifeless as "most" people think. The far side of the moon is populated with extremely large animals that closely resemble the giraffes we see here on earth. They are of course very much larger than earth giraffes due to the lower gravity on the moon. They are also completely invisible because their skin immediately transmits light from one side of their body out through the opposite side. Therefore you can only ever see an exact rendition of what is behind them, thus making them appear totally invisible. This sounds odd but evolved as the most effective way to protect them from cosmic rays and the intense UV light on the surface of the moon.
The giant invisible lunar giraffes have a very finely tuned sense of motion, especially angular momentum. They can sense the position and rotation of the moon relative to the earth. This is similar to the sense of balance the inner ear gives to humans.
When they detect a slight variation in the rotation of the moon it causes a sensation like falling. When this happens the giraffes all start running in the opposite direction to the variation. At a predetermined point in time, when all of the moon's giraffes are up to speed, they all immediately come to a dead stop. The momentum of millions of giant giraffes all braking suddenly causes a slight correction to the orbit of the moon thus bringing it back to its synchronised orbital rotation.
This is not a theory, it is known fact, just because some ignorant bozo's don't belive it does not stop it from being true. The people who "Claim" not to believe in the Giant Invisible Lunar Giraffes really hate them, I personally don't understand why they have so much hatred for the Giraffes. The Giraffes are selflessly protecting all humanity from a lunar cataclysm that would destroy the earth and all these people do in return is hate the Giraffes that are saving their miserable lives. You all incorrectly think it's God doing this... But I know the real Truth.

You know, I find that a lot of "Christians" have a misconstrued view of what a true Christian is and who gets into Heaven. A lot of people think "Oh, you just have to be saved and no matter how much you sin, you'll get into heaven". That's not true, God said man will be judged by his fruit (his actions) so you must continue to walk with the Lord and do good works even after you've been saved. As far a Gandhi, here's what my faith teaches. God is a loving and merciful God. If God is truly who we believe him to be, he would not send someone with a kind heart who did good works to hell. But like I said, a lot of Christians have fuzzy beliefs in this area.

God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him. People who believe in God's Son are not judged guilty. Those who do not believe have already been judged guilty, because they have not believed in God's one and only Son. --John 3:16
To Answer your question:
According to the Bible, The ONLY way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was sent to Earth by God to give his life as payment for our sins. That is the core belief of Christianity. If Gandi or any other person doesn't believe that they are not a Christian and, by the word of the bible, they have already been judged guilty. And yes, will burn to hell.
I have never read the Koran or any of the other religous teachings. So I have no clue if they say there is more than one way to heaven. But I believe in Christ and I believe in the Bible. My beliefs say Jesus is the only way to God. You can't earn you way in by being nice, doing good deeds, or being a good person. Only through Jesus and the grace of God.
Also, just because I'm a Christian I don't think that will give me a free pass to keep living a life of sin. I have to sincerely (no spell check) seek the kingdom of God once I've been saved.
I own a bible called the 'Everyday Bible' it is a New Century Version translation. The translation process used a group of bible scholars and translators. This bible is intended to be accurate to the manuscripts in the original language. I doubt that much will get lost in translation

Christianity is not a religion. You can be baptist, catholic, presbyterian, methodist, etc and still be a a christian. Being a christian means that you've accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and you have been reborn to live a christian life by God's Word. If you choose to deny the God's calling, you are not allowed eternal life in Heaven. The reason why we believe that way is because it is written in the Bible as God's word. It is what we put our faith in. If we did not believe what was being told to us, there wouldn't be much point in having religions, would there?

Christianity is based on Christ and his teachings.
1. He said NOone comes to the Father except through me,
2. He died on the cross to pay for our sins,
3 God so loved the world that He gave his only
begotten son so that whoever believes in Him
shall have eternal life,
4 By FAITH we are Saved and not of ourselves it is a gift from God, not of works lest any man should boast,
5. We turn away from our sin and ask God to
forgive us. Which He does. But if we turn away from Him and continue to live a life of sin then
we can lose that salvation.
6 God wants obedience from us more than
sacrifice.
7 God love the person (His creation) but cannot
abide sin.
8 When we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior
we are made new creatures(born again)
9 Some people ask forgiveness with their mouth
but not with their heart therefore they are not
Christians.

Being a Christian is not a religion. It's having a relationship with God. It's a way of life. Not a bunch of rituals and practices. But anyway, anyone who's not a born-again Christian is going to hell when they die. That means that if Mother Theresa didn't accept Jesus as her Personal Savior and ask Him to forgive her of her sins, then I'm sorry but she didn't go to heaven when she died.

Other religions also believe in eternal damnation. For example: when you are reincarnated based on your previous life you can be damn to the life of a gnat, that is their version of hell. Why do people always see hell as fire with a devil, horns and pitchfork???And if there is a reglion without consequences for treating others like crap or not believing wouldn't we all want to sign up??? Chrisitianity is a lifestyle not a title, just because you "say" that you are a Christian does not mean that you live like one and that you are going to heaven. I grew up as a Christian my entire life. I do not know anything else. My grandpapa is a pastor and I still believe that I, myself am going to hell.

Well, Jesus said I am the way the truth and the light, and nobody can get to heaven without going through him first. Since Jesus is the central figure to Christianity, and the key teacher, Christians believe that everyone else misses out on heaven. BUT, he also says that his salvation is for everyone.
