Birds are very social creatures. They can get bored and start to become very loud. You need to give your pet attention every day..like being out of the cage and new toys (switch them out ) for differnt ones every few days. New foods....safe ones check with your vet.

Most of the time, a bird will scream to get attention, if you have a parrot, it will scream to get attention. Parrots need a lot of attention. Other birds scream from fear or stress or from anger. Yes, birds can be angry. If you ever see two in a cage together and one keeps bugging the other, it will scream to express irritation or anger.

Typically it's stress related. The only other times I've seen/heard a bird scream is when they're looking for attention, negative or positive.

Its a natural behavior birds vocalize
If its getting annoying heres what you do
When your bird is quiet for any given length of time give it a treat and tell your bird why it got it.
It works for my birds
Remember they are birds and you still are going to have to expect some noise.

Often they are happy when the chat loudly. You can cover their cage for short periods of time and they will quite down. Always leave some space for them to breath through in what you cover the cage with.
The link I have posted below will show you my aviary with my 20 parakeets and also pictures of my 2 cockatiels. We just had baby parakeets come out of the box today!! We have had 10 baby parakeets born here since october! It also shows my 9 cats and their large patio building and our 2 dogs.

that is not scream because they are glad to say good morning or want your attention, our sun concure and 2 cockateils do that every morning or very glad to see us around again!
