illegals are here because the government lets them!!! To all the people that don't want illegals here, go complain to the government, elect someone that cares and that will get rid of this problem... If you tell the illegals "Go home" they won't, not just because YOU want them to leave, this is something the government has to do!! So what are you doing to get your point accross to them, the gov??? Do you thing they're in this forum reading your complaints?? I don't think so.....

Good point Lily. The motto is to ***** and moan about illegals.
Its called lip service. They just complain and do nothing.
Why don't they take to the streets all over America and protest, like they do in Mexico?
They are too lazy. They sit behind there computer's here, all the while many more illegals have crossed over.....

Illegal is illegal if the government wants them or not. Remember what happen in 1776 because the government started not applying the law equally to everyone. If someone is here illegal they are breaking the law and are a criminal. And yes there are several that do read things here. Yeah they won't go home if we tell them. But people need to stop hiring them and giving them things. One of the requirements for that employers fill out on everyone is the I-9 form. Part of the laws involving that say that if a person suspects that a piece of documentation may be fake for any reason then they are required to refuse it. Well let's start seeing this enforced. Let's not make it easy for these low life criminals to get jobs. And we can talk about this all we want to. As American citizens we have the right to do so, so You don't go telling us what we can or cannot talk about. If you have a problem with illegal immigration being the main topic of discussion in this section then go find another section to stick you nose in.
Now as for some of us not doing anything, in front of my house I do have a sign that reads 'DEPORT ILLEGAL ALIENS." I also have several t-shirts and sweat shirts that say the same thing. I also have several business cards that say that and I leave them at places I shop, eat. etc.

Illegals are here within the United States because they broke the law and continue to break the law. The fact is that the lack of enforcement of the law is right now be debated within the congress and many officials are starting to worry because their jobs are on the line if they do not vote the way that the majority of Americans want - enforcement of the laws.
"We the people...." is part of the declaration of Independence that you evidently have not learned about. See, within the United States, 'we the people' are indeed the government. While there is a move to undermine that very point, 'we the people' are indeed moving to address such and to see that changes are made.
Government officials indeed know my views well as I write, fax, and call them regularly to see how they are thinking of voting and telling them how they best can represent me within government.
'We the people' here would hope that illegals would return to their country and attempt to do similar with their own country and press their government to address the problems within their own borders that make it so that many feel that they only way to attempt to make a living is by breaking the laws of another country.
I am totally in favor of having in place the very same immigration laws that Mexico has for the United States.

The government is hiding from the issue-true.
But it is against the law to cross illegally-true
People are taking action-building fences and complaining and putting in bills.
And towns and cities are starting to enforce laws. Due to the pressure on State programs and the pressure from people. They are doing in within the law.
So it is happening-leagally-not by shouting Go home. Sorry if you don't like it.

I think many of us have already done what we can ... written to congressmen and senators ... to the white house ... actively supporting the Minutemen ... and come election time in 2008, I can guarantee that illegal immigration will still be on the agenda ... and every law abiding American who loves his country will vote accordingly ....
