It really depends on you and the situation. There are a lot of questions to ask yourself. Did she do this on purpose and why? How important is this friendship to me? Is this the first time she has disappointed me? It's good to forgive, but if this is the type of person that will keep hurting you, it might be time to rethink the friendship.

Forgive and you will be forgiven. One day you might offend or hurt someone and want their forgiveness. Even if she didn't ask for your forgiveness you should.. More so if she did.

Think how you would feel if the situation was in reverse. Also, life is very very short and tomorrow is not promised to anyone. If (God forbid) your friend died in a car crash tonight. Would you regret that you didn't have an opportunity to forgive her.

You may need some time to get past the hurt or whatever it was that she did and that's obviously understandable however, if you don't learn how to forgive then you won't feel free to move on. When you're unforgiving of a person it's very unhealthy and you carry the weight of the past on your shoulders.

If it was something really really horrible....give yourself time to heal from the pain but still look to the day when you can forgive. You may not have the exact same closeness, especially if the person hasn't changed their behavior, but you'll know you conquered what can easily eat you up inside and speak with this person without any animosity. Believe me one day you might be in this very same situation.

it's hard to say because can't tell how extreme it is. my advice is u should never hold a grudge life is tooo short to be worrying about petty stuff. try and forgive and u could be her friend if u want to BUT don't walk back into that friendship with your eyes closed. u let her know that u can forgive her but u will never really forget (if it was something extreme). try and live life free from any kind of drama u'll be more be more happy that way.

You know, forgiving her might not mean anything to her, but it'll make a world of difference to you. Anger is poison and you are only hurting yourself.

Forgive her. But if need be, protect yourself in the future.

It is better to forgive. That does not mean that you still have to be friends. If you forgive her, you can move on. You then have to decide if what she did was to bad, that it has ruined your relationship.

Well, it depends on how much the friendship means to you... I would say it is best to forgive, and to move on with the friendship, or leave her friendship behind that is if she is not worth being friends with...

You should always forgive. However, that doesn't mean you have to continue being her friend.

It's always good to forgive so that it doesn't eat at you... and it will. But... depending on what it is that he/she did, you can always decide wether you want to remain friends or not.

IF SHE IS YOUR FRIEND AND A REALLY GOOD FRIEND. THEY ARE FEW AND HARD TO COME BY...IF SHE MADE A MISTAKE BUT YOU ARE STILL ASKING YOURSELF AND OTHERS IF YOU SHOULD FORGIVE HER, THEN SHE MUST STILL BE IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO YOU FOR FORGIVINESS....TO FORGET HER WOULD COME FROM A CERTAIN WANT FOR REVENGE BUT TO FORGIVE YOUR FRIEND WOULD COME FROM THE HEART.

You should try to forgive her if she is genuinely sorry, but you need to be able to let it go.
