Because both the scientific and ethical arguements for vegitarianism are flawed. As for Bhagavan Sri Krsna, you can worship what you like.

Because the design of the human mouth is meant for limited vegetable ability, designed for the eating of meat, and the eating of animal flesh cleans the bacteria that veggies create. More importantly than that though, is who doesn't want to eat a ribeye with shrimp?
