No.

I pity them for their stupidity and inability to perceive how incredibly hollow and meaningless that threat is.

I'm not an atheist or an agnostic, but I also don't believe in pushing any of my spiritual beliefs on anyone either. That being said, I don't believe that "God" is a hateful or vengeful deity. I also don't believe that he/she wants you to sit all day thinking about and worshipping him/her. Most religions also talk about forgiveness but the followers can't forgive you for not believing. I like to believe that there is compassion and that you would be forgiven for not believing and going your own route. It takes more to question why than to just blindly believe. Then again, there is a reason why followers are called a "flock", because most of them are sheep and believe anything.

I'm not exactly an athiest, but i don't think any of you are being very open minded to them at all, i mean i don't exactly believe in god or any religion for that matter, but you have to respect other people's beliefs, and if you don't believe in god then why should you care if they say you are going to hell?

And i also believe that if there is a god humans now-a-days have made up lies and misinterpretations to what he was originally percieved as.

Hell means eternal separation from God...and by being atheist or agnostic you are chosing to not have a relationship with God, and when your life is over, God gives you want you wanted, which was separation from Him

I know it's not nice and I don't like it anymore than you do, but sadly that is the way it is...

being able to go to heaven is a free gift which you can chose to take or reject, your choice.

By asking why we are offended you are claiming that we are. Your question would have been better put Why or why not? At least you would have some semblance of neutrality in the question.

I really don't care if they say I'm going to hell or if they say they are going to pray for me. Since I don't believe in that stuff it is just words. Why be offended by everything?

I do not get offended.
Only time will tell if and where I am going. If I leave this life better than when I started it, them I have done my what I was meant to do. If they believe that I will go to hell because I am not going to their church or believe in what they do, I don't want to be trapped in that stigma that is so short sighted.

No, because I'm agnostic, and don't believe in the same type of afterlife that fundamentalist christians do. (And agnostics aren't the same as athiests...I believe there is a "God", but it's not an angry man who lives in the sky and smites you if you break his rules).

I do, because I think it's so completely judgmental of them. I mean, if there is a God, and I'm wrong because I believe differently, I really don't think "Mable the good Christian who lives on the corner" should be the one to decide my fate. But that's just me.

I've been told before that because I don't go to church, I'm going to Hell. Now, I'm sorry, but when I was a kid, our preacher was busted for child pornography... on church computers, no less. And I'm going to Hell because I wouldn't go to church and let him preach the scriptures? Come on!

It would never bother me because i didn't believe it. And if they wanted to believe that, that was OK with me because it didn't affect me at all. The only problem was i felt sorry for them because they were worried about me being miserable in hell. It's really that they love and care for you why they want you to convert. They can't stand the idea of you suffering in hell.

Yes I do. Most of the time it's because if heaven means I have to spend eternity listening to their proselytizing I'd puke. I know that Man created God for need of security, but this is just getting way out of hand.

No because Hell does not exist. Let the idiots talk and do their thing. We know that they are wrong and ignorant. In the end we all end up the same place, we just know where.....the ground.
