First, if you don't already have one, get a court order for child support. Then enforce it. If he doesn't pay, contact the district attorney and have him picked up.

Personally, if I had children with someone I considered a "dirtbag" I wouldn't want child support. I'd make it on my own and keep the 'dirtbag' our of their lives.

First of all, you need to divorce his sorry a**! You should get a court order for the child support. This way he can have it deducted from his pay, and you will get it.. that is if he has a job!
And for you, time to consider birth control.

Take him to court......we as a whole in the USA seem to think deadbeat dads are ok.....BUT....IT'S wrong......
Child support isn't a gift...IT"S a RESPONSIBILITY !!!!!
It takes 2 to make those babies...and if you weren't ready to be daddy....then you should have taken precautions against it.
If a man doesn't pay or even if its a woman that has to pay...then I think the laws should be alot more strict and maybe there wouldn't be so much of this going on.

you can only way to get him to see and take his financial and can only do that by having the authorities hold him responsible. file a complaint with your local police department and they can tell you who else to contact. as for making him realize he has 4 children and needs to be there for them, its impossible he has to want to be there for them....just remember if he's a dirtbag you don't want him in their lives except for his financial support, there are a lot worst things than not having a uncaring husband and father....let him go and hope he sends his checks from as far away from you and your children as possible.

Go to the courts, who will make sure that he does his part - or else he will have a long vacation in prison.

You can't make him realize that. That is up to him. You just need to get things done on your own and forgot about him.
