MELEMOM, WHAT IF THE CHILD IS TOO YOUNG TO READ? THINK, THINK, YOU'RE RELYING TOO MUCH ON FAITH AND NOT YOUR BRAIN.

I would say A, F, and E are the most likely. I'm not sure which is most, though. Probably F. The fear instilled in A, is likely to cause a rebellion.

I would say any of these can become an atheist. It takes an adult to truly understand what faith is about. I was between a non practicing Catholic and an atheist growing up. So until last year I met the Lord.

I think A, E, and F.
A, because a child that is tramatized by religion may turn against it when (s)he gets older.
E and F because this child has good use of reason and does not rely on faith.

D, E and F. But I'd like to say all six. A, B and C would be the result of a backlash as they get out into the real world and it all starts falling apart.

I said A, because if you have a bad expierence with religion when your young it can make you want to distance yourself from it when your older. When I was 9 my parish priest killed himself and I have never really felt the same about the church ever again.

Anyone of them could become an atheist.
Then again, any one of them could end up becoming religious fanatics.
It's all about the environment the live in and their ability to question.
