I used to assert a similar aspect...then i realized that I did like the drama....in case you extremely did not, you'll not be conscious. human beings usually say they don't look to be dramatic and that is each individual else....yet heavily, per chance u invite drama and do not comprehend it. I think when someone has a strong stand on anything, especially religion they incite controversy. I get alot of crap from people because I'm a vegetarian, for example. I think people see that as saying that you think you are better than them because you choose to do something that not everyone else does. I have known some very wonderful atheists and some very angry confused ones. Just explore and be open-minded in all things and don't let others bother you. Inform yourself so you can stand up for yourself :)

People don't ever get jealous of atheists. I've had problems where people start bugging you to change your practices b/c they think you're lost. But no one ever wakes up and says oh I wish I could be an atheist like him/her.
They're probably starting drama over something else...

Well on thing is how could they be jealous of you? You are not the one that is going to heaven for sure by speaking like that. Have you ever tried going to church and reading the bible. Maybe they are trying to help you get saved.

Atheist or not... you can believe in whatever you want! That's for sure!! But to think that people is jealous of you, that they hate you, and that they want to be you??? First of all, that's a contradiction! If people hates you, I'm sure they don't want to be you!!! And jealousy? For not believing in God??? Trust me, they have their own believes, they wouldn't hate you for that!

I'm happy to be a Catholic... if you're happy as an atheist, I personally have no problem with that, just let people talk and ignore then ;)
But please... don't try to convince us to be atheists as well, this is the never-ending war and bores me to tears. If we envied you, we'd become atheist as well, you'd have to do nothing at all.

have you ever thought its not jealousy but that they disagree with you views and you maybe to stuborn to listen to their thoughts on something. cuz personally i hate it when people are so stuck in their ways they wont think of giving my way a chance, and i try to give their way a try.
