The owner of an italian restuarant that my wife and i frequent is getting married. we will generally exchange pleasantries while there and i usually try to say something in italian. i would like to add something to the wedding card and i was hoping to find a traditional italian toast that he might recognize. any suggestions?

Per cent'anni-it wishes a long and prosperous marriage. and you can say baci when the couple kisses.

I second johnslat's answers. You can also simply say "Auguri!" which means best wishes.
