possibly because we are like a television show to aliens. we were created as show, and they watch every moment of our lives like it is one big drama/comedy. when the aliens no longer like your character, they cancel you and you die.

This is just my opinion, but some people believe that human beings are still in their early stages of life (Not just one generation, ...for the stupid people out there). And because of this our brains are also still in development, so we are not able to comprehend what the meaning of life really is.Just like, If the universe keeps going on for infinity or just stops at a certain piont. It is impossible for us (for now) to truly understand these things.
(I could be wrong though)

What excites you? What drives you? What do you care about most? What makes you happy? What makes you feel good? Who do you love? What do you love? All of that is what makes our lives meaningful. As far as an universal answer to the meaning of life, I don't think there is one. Only you can decide what your life means to you.

King Solomon said it was meaningless (Read Ecclesiastes in the Bible). Its over in a flash, its nothing but a vapor.
This is why Solomon says "God has set eternity on the hearts of man". You die to this world, so to speak, because this world and everything in it is coming to nothing. Its passing away, its coming to nothing like a melting oil painting.
Die to self so you can know God and then know and live with him forever. In his right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Repent of sin...what more can be said? Jesus is the only way.

I think that is for every person to figure out for themselves. I don't think there is just one meaning to life. I think everyone is here for a reason and a purpose even if it is only to learn a lesson for your next life.
