Not frequently, but we do. I have only meditated once or twice in something of a group, and that was only in high school, so I don't know how much it counts for. What we did was sit down in some area of the classroom, wherever we were able to keep to ourselves and think alone. Then our teacher led us in a meditation by describing a setting (along the Nile River, I seem to recall) back when Jesus was still walking the Earth. It was kind of a prompt, what the teacher said next. She turned on some relaxing music, and gave us one scenario before letting us think to ourselves. It was something along the lines of: "You see Jesus in the distance, sitting in the shade under a tree. As you approach him, you decide to have a conversation. What are you going to say to him? Will you ask him something?" And then the rest was left up to our minds. The more a person thought about it, the more they put into the spiritual experience. Some people just fell asleep. =/

I don't meditate, but that's because I feel silly doing it. My father is really into meditation, as a matter of fact he is into anything that is even remotely Eastern. It was suggested to him years ago by a Yogi from a place called Ananda Ashram (they have a web site you can look into if you're interested in that type of thing) who has since passed away, to find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed, close your eyes, and to "let your thoughts come and go like watching the clouds in the sky pass". I feel like a goofball sitting by myself in an attempt to "meditate", but both of my parents do and find it helpful. So, good luck! :)

I have meditated on occasion. I meditate with candles sometimes and just sit quietly and reflect. It doesn't even have to be some sort of religious reflection to God, sometimes I just clear my mind and relax.

Yes. I usually get myself centered and calm my thoughts. Then I focus on breathing and count my breaths. I sometimes use meditation after a yoga routine. Neither of these are incompatible with my Christian beliefs.

candlelight
light one up and sit in a quiet room, no electric anything on.
make yourself comfortable.
breathe deep a few times then slowly release
focus on the blue of the candle light fire on the wick
and try to think of nothing absolutely nothing of life and its troubles or yours
just relax and see the light
i like to do it with soft special music for meditation it helps work yourself into a peaceful relaxing trance like state. it will relax you
good luck

I like to sit down in a total quiet and ask God to calm me by his grace. So I sit quietly with my eyes close and calm the storm in my mind.
