I have been exactly where you are right now. I never had a boyfriend up until I met my husband. He was my first and last. I did have a crush on a friend of the family. He is about 2 years older than me and was in my brothers grade in school. He was popular and all that too. We were at a party one night (I was 17 at this point) and he started coming on to me. I was like "Whoa". To make a long story short, he was drunk and I was a virgin in love with a drunk. Needless to say I lost my virginity that night and I went through some other bums who did the whole "Wham, bam, thank you mam!" It really sux! Then I moved to Nashville and met my husband, Reis. I knew from the very moment that I saw him he was the one. It really does happen just like that and it really was love at first sight! I'm only 20 right now and I'm already happily married to a wonderful man. My advice to you, don't rush it. Let the boys come to you. If they're not right now, then they will. Trust me. Don't let anyone tell you love isn't real or there's no such thing as love at first sight. It's all BS got me? Trust your heart and you will find the perfect man for you. It may take a few guys to get to him, but fate will bring you together. I only really dated one guy before I met Reis. The rest I got with to please me! : )

Just remember you're only a teenager. Be friends with the guy that you like...guys are a little slow and it might be better to get to know him on a different level first before dating.
Don't worry, I'm in college and the guys...still jerks! But there's always someone out there. Don't be sad!

Who said that you needed a boyfriend is the first place. They are nothing but trouble. Don't try to fit in to impress a bunch of clowns who have no future. I was in school and never dated anyone. My grades were always great and now I am married to a great gal who makes plenty of money.
Concentrate on your studies, graduate, and make great money. You want to be with a guy who is successful in life and not some loser who will take you to Taco Bell for your anniversary. Above all, listen to your parents; they have been there before and can advise you.
Mr. M on boyfriend.

Take time to study how you can guard your heart from pain and, how be a good spouse for when that time comes.(I would suggest reading "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" by Josh Harris). I never had a girlfriend until college. It was painful at the time but, looking back I see that GOD knew what HE was doing. I am now married to the most beautiful woman and my best friend. In our society we all want instant gratification and, nobody wants to wait for anything. I wasted so much time crying over what I did not have that I did not take full advantage of the time that I was single. I will be praying for you.

Why do kids want to grow up so fast and be hurt so? Be patient as you will find a boy that will like you and want you to be his girl. Just remember the thing boys want most is to be only after marriage so if you want his respect, say no till you are married. If he really loves and respects you, he will want to wait as he will see the kind of strength in you that most do not have. I know it seems that if you don't have a boyfriend today, the world will come to an end but beleive me, it is just not going to happen that fast. Enjoy your growing years and don't be in such a hurry. Learn to be patient and it will come.

GOOD. U DON'T NEED A BOYFRIEND RIGHT NOW. SOMETIMES IT'S A GOOD THING. IF GOD WANTED U 2 HAVE A BOYFRIEND RIGHT NOW,HE'S GOING TO BRING HIM TO U.
HONESTLY, YOU'LL FIND DECENT BOYS IN CHURCH, THAT LUV GOD W/ALL THEIR HEARTS, THAT HAVE A GODLY CALLING IN THEIR LIVES, THAT SERVE THE LORD WITH ALL THEIR HEARTS.
NONE ARE PERFECT, BUT THEY'RE A WHOLE LOT BETTER THEN THE WORLDLY BOYS.
TRUST ME. I MARRIED 13 YRS AGO, NONE OF MY PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIPS WORKED. ALMOST ALL OF THEM BAD.
WAITED ON THE LORD, HE BROUGHT ME MY HUSBAND NOW, & NOW WE'RE PASTORING A CHURCH.....THAT'S GODS PERFECT WILL IN MY LIFE. YES, WE STILL HAVE OUR UPS & DOWNS BUT I CAN HONESTLY SAY THEY'VE BEEN SO MANY MORE UPS THEN DOWNS. THANK U JESUS.
PRAY & ASK GOD TO HELP U THRU THIS TIME.
I HAVE AN 18 YR OLD DAUGHTER & THANK GOD SHE DOESN'T HAVE A SERIOUS B/FRIEND OR B/FRIEND FOR THAT MATTER WHY? B/CUZ I KNOW GOD HAS SOMEONE OUT THERE JUST 4 HER, HE'S HAND PICKED SOMEONE JUST SPECIALLY FOR HER.
GOOD LUCK
PS. DON'T TRY & WANT TO B LIKE EVERYONE ELSE...SOMETIMES, A LOT OF TIMES IT'S TROUBLE.....

Do you feel the pressure from societies norms, or are you your own woman?
You sound like your in a rush to be validated...just because others have a boyfriend, all is not nirvana baby.
There is a time and place for everything. If a friend just wants to be friends, just accept that.
Stay pure for your husband on your honeymoon...so it will be a time to remember.

Sweetie, YOU should not be asking ANY guy out. Be the pursued, not the pursuer. Young ladies just do NOT ask a guy out...I don't care WHAT generation you are in. It's not proper. Don't worry about it, your time will come. Focus on school. It will get you further than a boyfriend will.

Well Gal, decide what you want out of life, you did not have a BF but did it effect you in anyway.. i don't think so, my advice stop being driven by friends pressure.. and take control of your life. Once you get confidence in you, you will be able to attract many many more guys.
Take Care

When I was a teenager I didn't have a boyfriend because I was shy. There is nothing wrong with not having a boyfriend. Just take your time, you'll find the right one.
