Do not know, do not understand.
I am from Oklahoma City, people did not start hating all christians just because Timothy McVeigh blew up the Murrah buildling here. I am fairly knowledgeable about islam for an American-I know it means roughly submission to god and a bit about the Koran and especially more sufi type info. And i understand that any religion can be used for good or evil (like catholic priests using their power to molest children) but i don't think all catholics or the religion itself is bad.

Those of the Christian Faith do not hate... period.

We oppose Islam because it is a deception of satan that was founded at the point of a sword and has been sperad at the point of the sword, and is inforced at the point of the sword. Every nation that is under that domination is full proof of that statement.

Now. with such sophisticated thechnology as is available they have started to modify the deception and are being much more subtle in their approches...They have seen how the mormons do it and are using much the same in the U.S. and Canada at least... with modern communication and reporting they can not just come into western culturs and take over by force. Espacialy in the U.S. where there is still some ability for the individual to devend themself... That is why the forces of islam are in the forfront of the anti gun movement.

Islam was not started by satan... but he shure knows a good thing when he sees it, good for him that is, and he has influenced and exploited it from the begining.

Most people only know the extremem ideas of Islam and use thier misconceptions to make generalizations for all Islamic followers. I think 9/11 also left a sour taste in pople's mouths, I still think that for the most part that it's all ignorance. If all humans could understand and accept each other, what would this planet be?

i don't think most people hate Islam. Yet what we see of Islam is often from extremists who seem to hate us. They call us infidels and believe they are doing God a service by killing us. i know this isn't the way all Muslims believe, but there seem to be a good handful who do, and it makes us wonder.

Also, we wonder why it is a forced religion in many countries. This goes against our understandings of faith and belief, which most people don't think can or should be forced. It should be recieved and accepted. We want that freedom for all people.

Finally, i don't like that so many Islamic countries seem to me to supress women. Most of us believe that women and men are equal. Women are very intelligent and ought to have the right speak and think freely. Very few people are drawn to a religion they believe to be oppressive.

Look at History and see how many areas he conquered and forced to become Islamic, im not saying all Muslims are like him, in fact some of the nice ones do not even know this History at all.

I do not think "most" people do. I think it is the people who will find hate in their hearts no matter what you are talking about. I am christian and am ashamed at how many self proclaimed christians can say such horrible things about any religion in a sweeping statement. Perhaps they do not know where their religion comes from. Every religion just like everything in life has had its ups and downs and to be negative towards a whole group for the stupidity of a few is just plain ignorance.

I don't hate Islam in fact I have stood it's corner on a few occasions in here and defended it.
I admit to not knowing very much about it but I have never had hate mail or a judgmental answer from a follower of Islam and have no reason to hate it or it's followers.

Because most people's information about Islam comes from the press which, let's face it, tends to paint it in a less than favourable light. Most people wouldn't take the time to learn about Islam because they have already made their minds up.
Unfortunately, the extremists get more press than the rest.

First, -we have better things to do than 'hate' Islam. Your religion is not even worth the time to hate. In fact, we Americans, if we were to examine any religion, it would have to start with our own.

Islam, -oh yeah, the one that says Jesus was NEVER on the cross, never to die for our sins, and oh yeah, - the one that says we infidels will know the power of Allah, when you Islamist are stepping on the necks of the infidels.

I'm not impressed with the literalist Islamist, nor the moderate that's too chicken to tackle the problem of the mis-behaving Jihadist.

hi! i'm a Muslim and that i don't think of all Christians are undesirable. There are Christians that are type. I have Christian acquaintances! i have examine each and every of the comments right here and it type of feels that a great number of them are undesirable mouthing Islam, besides the undeniable fact that that is what they imagine! they merely do not realize Islam and merely bounce into conclusions. you be conscious, the Quran would not let us know to kill! Quran truly band us to kill! even as there is those who would not opt to remodel to Islam, we merely enable them be. that is their decision, no longer ours. possibly they'd convert to Islam sometime. we do not opt to conflict. on the until eventually now era, we fought conflict because the different aspect annoying circumstances us. no longer merely that, we received't merely commence conflict with our own will, we want premition from the God first. The Muslim that element became being avoided from homestead because they say 'Allah is our in person-friendly words God!' And lot's of non-Muslim bullies us, yet we merely want to be affected man or woman. yet when it is going to far, that is totally well to conflict. Quran and Hadist also advised us that we want to understand different religions to! we want to be type to all residing beings, even the non-Muslims. Our faith is strict with a great number of regulations, besides the undeniable fact that that is because the God cares about us. Now, each and absolutely everyone could end criticizing different faith, and enable's merely see who's proper contained in the top even as that is the top of all time lets? :)
