Did you ever stop to think that your condescention has anything to do with it?

First of all, "most" atheists don't bash the Christians. You're painting with a broad brush. Some do, some don't. There are jerks in every faith.

Why do you think "some" Christians bash Atheists? Isn't that against everything they profess to believe?

Please give an example of atheists bashing Christians. See...I hate it when people just assert things with absolutely no evidence or proof. I'm an agnostic but I have great respect for those TRUE Christians who are loving and kind and not judgemental. And I find it ironic that those in the majority (Christians) feel they have to whine about how it's not all rosy for them. How would you like to switch places with Jews for a while and see what it's like not to be in the majority?

For the same reason christians think that all atheists are evil and going to hell.

Even when you try to have a logical debate with christians it comes down to, 'well you don't believe in god something is wrong with you'.

Atheists don't really care if you want to believe in fairy tales. We just don't like the institutions that push this garbage as truth. And we are going to tell you what we think, whether you are offended or not.

It really hurts to know how brainwashed you all are.

"Why do most christians bash atheists?" Just fyi, christians do more bashing I've noticed than atheists for the most part.

Stop thinking you are the only one being bashed out here. Its not just you, its everyone and every relgion.

what about all the Christians that bash atheists? Everyone has the right to believe or to NOT believe. And we are NOT lost. YOU are brainwashed.

Much of what people do is done in the name of God. Irishmen blow each other up in his name. Arabs blow themselves up in his name. Imams and ayatollahs oppress women in his name. Celibate popes and priests mess up people's sex lives in his name. Jewish shohets cut live animals' throats in his name. The achievements of religion in past history -- bloody crusades, torturing inquisitions, mass-murdering conquistadors, culture-destroying missionaries, legally enforced resistance to each new piece of scientific truth until the last possible moment -- are even more impressive. And what has it all been in aid of? I believe it is becoming increasingly clear that the answer is absolutely nothing at all. There is no reason for believing that any sort of gods exist and quite good reason for believing that they do not exist and never have. It has all been a gigantic waste of time and a waste of life. It would be a joke of cosmic proportions if it weren't so tragic.

There, its happening again. They are bashing you anyway. You see, no one wants to believe someone else is right, because they beleive THEY are right. I'm not just talking about athiests or anyone in particular. Athiests believe something different and dislike the ideas of anyone who doesn't believe what they believe. Just like many religions. I'm sorry, I don't see it that way. We just have to bear it and continue to witness. It does hurt to know that, but there is nothing we can do if they aren't willing to accept us but pray. I'm sorry.

And Athiests on here are just proving your point.

The Atheists have made a Religion out of how much they hate God.

Madalyn Murray O'Hair wanted Lightning to strike a spot she told God to do it and since he didn't Madalyn Murray O'Hair used that to conclude there is no God.

Well she was in for a suprise when she died and William Murray has to say the toughest thing when he claimed her Dead body he said "don't pray for my Mother, she's already in Hell."

As a christian myself, I am ashamed at the words you use here. Your lack of caring for people of other religions is why you should not call yourself a christian. let people believe what they want. We are all God's children. god did not give you free will and not everyone else. It is people like you who push others away from God. Your back handed and self satisfying question is a disgrace to God's love. God's peace be with you.
