The truth is if there's so many illegals here, it's because your goverment wants them here, they know the US economy will suffer greatly without them. It would be soooo easy to round all of them up and send them back to their native countries (not just Mexico, there's illegals from all over the world) I mean, have you seen the fake IDs and SS cards they use? I see them everyday @ work, and they are so easy to spot. Also, the gov doesn't seal the borders because not only do they need all the illegals, they also need all the drug money that comes in, what would happen with out the cheap labor of illegals and all that drug money?? The economy would collapse, and the Gov knows it!!! Why is it so hard to understand this and so hard to accept?? The US would be nothing without immigrants, illegal or not, I bet you didn't complain when your house was built so cheap, and when your office and house are cleaned for about $ 5 per hour. Accept that you are wrong and stop complaining!!

well,thats what I've been trying to get across.But some ppl don't understand basic english.The only defense they have is that illegals brake the law,don't pay taxes,and commit crimes.1)Americans break the law too,so should we send them back to whatever country they originated from?Or would it be easier to pay a fine?So why can't illegals pay the fines for entering illegally?It's not like they killed someone coming here.2)Every job that pays by checks take out taxes.No matter what kind of SS# you give them,taxes will be taken out.AND,there are tax ID#s now.And if a company doesn't take taxes out on their employees,its not the workers fault--it's the employers.3)Every race has ppl that commit crimes.And if a persons biggest crime is entering here illegally,then I think thats pretty good considering all the american drug dealers,pedophiles,rapists,etc. that are living here now.

You need to wake up. The reason we do not want the ILLEGAL ALIENS here is because they take precious money out of the system that could be used for the people who are legally here, immigrant or not. If the Illegals are not criminals then they wouldn't be here, because HELLO "ILLEGAL" is "ILLEGAL" you just don't get it. The Illegal immigrants are already breaking the law and when the jump the border and come to this country without any of the proper paperwork they are committing a crime and all us tax payers (I assume that you work and pay taxes) have to support them until they find work, and if they have children born in America while they are here, we have to support them too. Let the Mexican Government take care of the Mexican Citizens for once, and leave us alone.

We don't have to quit complain.We have the legal right to complain about injustices in this country and the illegals breaking the law. Anyone here illegally is breaking the Law and should be deported. And to answer our question, yes I have seen many of the fake IDs and SS cards that are being used among other things. Just because some people haven't seen them doesn't mean they aren't there. Can you see the air? Can you see gravity? Illegals are a cancer in America and they need to be cut out and tossed away. The economy will go along fine without them. Don't pull these economy crap or the racist thins either. This is about sticking up for what is right and for the laws. If you don't like it then leave the country! All illegals, regardless of where they are from, need to be ousted. And as for being wrong, nope you are. Sorry the economy would be better. There has been a great strain on Government programs--that is a fact. You can bury your head and deny it but that would make you a liar.
That money takes from other programs--disability, SS and medical. It hurts the poor and sick and elderly. Rather you face that or not. Because of the strain-these helpless do not get a fair cost of living wage and other benefits were cut.
No tax on the new people would cover the cost it cost to support the percentage that will still need help.

The economy would not collapse. Generally speaking they are suggest to depress wages by 200 billion, ie they roughly get paid a 2/3 what an average person works on. Primarily all that profit goes to the owner (and doesn't benefit the consumer), since no market is concentrated with illegals the owners are not compelled to relief prices. It's nothing more than slave economics, and even after slavery the south was far more productive....so you're living in a dream world.

Not all illegals work, about 3-4 million are children whom go to. school. You're talking about a very small piece of the pie, hardly something to depend on.

By the way my house was built in the 70's, by italians americans; and it's price is far more influenced by zoning laws/permits and demand than by labor.

You're wrong because you have to absolutely ignore the infrastructure which pays far more for uneducated illegals that it gets back. Address the medical, energy, water, schooling, jails, etc. Many of which are paying dearly because of illegals.

Lily, It's a big issue and it's going to get resolved. The U.S. House of Representatives will not pass an "amnesty" bill because they know they won't get reelected if they do. US Sentators are starting to get the message, too.

Get over being annoyed by this issue, as this is one issue that will not go away.

The public has awakened to the cost of illegal immigrants in the US because the country is being inundated by one particular (illegal) type of immigrant. Many are criminals--check the facts. Others come here only to give birth ("anchor babies") and to take advantage of our system. The US welcomes people from all over the world--through legal immigration, of course. That means people who want to learn English, stay here forever, invest in our country (not just sending $$ home to Mexico) with their lives and be American. Legal immigrants who came here legally (Ellis Island, for example) from all over the world were checked for disease, registered, provided all kinds of infomation before coming here. Unlike illegals, who just jump the border and ignore every law ever written by the US., which they disrespect!

But-- Illegal IS illegal. They came here w/out following the law. So I have no sympathy-- The reason they come? Mexico sucks when it comes to jobs and pay for their own people. I love Mexico but its a mess. They wouldn't be coming here in droves if there weren't opportunity here.

If you're legal, you should complain too. These people jump the line to get in the country and reap benefits they are not legally entitlled to. That increases our social costs (e.g. taxes).

In America we all have The right of Free speech and our own opinions. Just so you know the reason I want change is because my taxes pay for their medical and dental as well as Social Security. I can barely afford my own medicine and doctors visit and do not qualify for aid but they all do and get better care than me. I am asking for equality! I have no problem with immigrants but object to the ways they are given things that me and my family are not. I am a 5th generation American and my ancestors were on the Mayflower...whoopie...we worked very hard to build this country and reap the rewards. Illegal immigrants have not. There is more to this story you are not apparently aware of. Like bringing their parents over and having them care for the kids while they work seems innocent, but they are paying into Social Security for 10 years then they send them back to their country and they draw and SS checks and live like Kings and Queens! That is not OK with me. That money should stay here. I could go on and on but there is a limit. Yes, they work the fields and in some places they build homes and clean houses, I did that too when I was younger. I also paid taxes and into Social Security and retirement. I had to plan to take care of me, not have the govt. take care of me.
