we are on our 5th year, so I'd say yes it's possible.. no time nor space can come between two people in love.. love will always stand the test of time and bridge the distance

YES! I just had a friend get married to a man whom she'd been in a long distance relationship with for 3 years. They visited each other, and talked to each other everyday, about 3 times a day. If you're both very committed, it will work.

The overall results depend on the people involved. You must maintian consatant contact, by phone and by mail. It also helps if you try to meet with each other once in a while. If your love is strong enough it will survive anything.

only if you are really in love with someone, but how would you know if the other person loves you as much as you love them? would you rather find out 2 years from now?

Yes, it is very possible, but extremely hard and taxing. You have to have faith and be faithful. If you need attention, sex, etc., this is NOT FOR YOU. I would say, if you love someone, do it. . .
