Find out what the cat is eating that makes it puke and try to put an end to it. Cats usually get sick from something there eating. Perhaps the cat is eating some type of grass or weed outside that makes it sick. If it's an indoor cat try a better brand of cat food or stop feeding it people food. Food scraps, depending on what they are, may not agree with a cats digestion. Good luck.

If you have a cat that can tell you that getting rid of it is out of the question, just tell the cat to quit puking on the floor.

Cats lick themselves. Unfortunately, each time they do that, hair gets caught in their throats until it accumalates into a hairball. An animal doctor can take it out. Just like cleaning lint out of your dryers vent screen, a cats throat has to be cleaned also.

Cats vomit, it just happens. Usually they eat too fast and end up throwing up. Cats throw up voluntarily not like people that throw up involuntarily, if something is bothering them they get rid of it. It is just a fact of having cats.
