To me my bf is awsome. He dresses so hot, does his hair hot, his hobbies are amazing, his music is great, and he pampers me like a baby and i love him. But the thing is I'm 18 and he's 16...... And all the people, guys and girls, ive ever talked to about him all have nothing but bad things to say about him. That he "tries to hard to be a badass" or he acts stupid and imature. And I would never even think about dating a guy like that because its extremely unatractive, but am I already?? He acts so different with me then he has with anyone. He always acts mature with me and never trys to hard....he's just himself. But does he act like an idiot when im not around? because i dont want an idiot bf nor do i want anything thinking "ooh she's the one going out with that annoying guy".

If you truly love this guy, that really wouldn't matter, but I can understand where you are coming from. People say you are a reflection of the people you choose to have around you. But since he doesn't act that way around you, it's hard to know the real him! It's makes me think he might be just trying too hard around other people, while he feels comfortable enough around you to just be himself. If you believe he is more "himself" with you than with other people, then eventually the "true him" will shine through in all his relationships with a little time and maturity. :)

For one thing, if you truly know that he actually the person that he is when he is with and just is an idiot around others then I would for the most part trust what he is to you. All people see people on different levels and in High school the world is so unreal and fantasy like that people are judging left and right. So trust you head and be careful of your heart, just because men can please the heart but when you get out of highschool and you step into real relationships and real life in this harsh world, you will understand that you need to look for more than just you like what he is on the outside, you'll want to ask alot of questions to measure up to the person that you want to find yourself with later in life. I don't know him to begin with but I might put some good advice out there for you. This is kind of funky, but one day spy on him! This might be invading his personal space but just do it. I spy on my brother and isster sometimes and I know that that is totally different but still. If you really want to know if he acts like an idiot when your not around then you got to go out and find out if it is true or not. If not then ask him if he does. he may tell the truth...and if he doesn't--he's a jerk. (no offence but ppl who love u shouldn't lie to u ) Besides that you guys sound like a cute couple.
If your bf's social status effects how much you like him then maybe it just depends on what you just love about him! Do you like that he is popular? or do you like that he is his unique self. BEcause if it is the uniqueness then social status shouldn't matter right?

Who cares what they think? It sounds like YOU are happy with him. Everyone else is just trying to rain on your parade. There's nothing more sought after than a happy, loving relationship!
If you two are happy and in love, forget about everyone else. Tell THOSE people that you don't appreciate them talking that way about your man. How rude! What kinds of friends are those?!
Think of you and him as a TEAM. Work as a team, help each other, build each other up, protect each other, etc...

First off, all guys, until they turn about 21, are highly immature. Those chicks telling you all that crap are just jealous. You found yourself a prize, keep it. You earned it.
The guys your age are immature too, and you know it. There are a few gems in the bag that can be mature all the time, but guys just wanna have fun, just like girls wanna have their ice cream and chocolate with their girl friends.

I think that you are young and that you should be concentrating more on your future than if you bf acts like a immature idiot because he's young also and chances are that he is an immature kid. You need to worry about yourself and not hin you are young and chances are that this is npt the guy that will eventually become your husband so you need to soend your time doing more productive things than worrying about him.

As long as u find that he's mature enough for u, then why care about people have got to say?! i believe if u really love him, u will not ask urself such questions as "oh, wat my friends will say abt him?" or "how is he actin rite nw wth his friends?". u shud knw that wen guys get together, they surely end up actin stupid n immature. i feel u shudn't give too much importance abt wat others have got to say abt ur bf. its ur opinion of him that really counts in love.
