Yeah, I checked out that site from someone's link, I love it.

People hang onto something for so long... it's hard to admit that prayer is a waste and to let go. They would be lost.

I think I was upset when I found out the tooth fairy wasn't real, but I moved on too.

If you choose not to believe no amount of evidence will change your mind. The Old Testemant is filled with prophecy that was fullfilled at least 400 years later in the life of Jesus. But if you are unwilling to openly accept that you may be incorrect then you will only see what you want to believe. Why is it so hard for people to believe? Is there any evidence that says they are "stupid" or "fairytales"? No. Peoples eyes are just closed.

have any of you ever seen the movie "Left Behind"? If not please I beg you to go get it and watch it then think about all that is happening around the world today then PICK up a King James version of the bible and start to read it all that you need to know about if GOD is real or not is in there. I just wonder if you don't think that any of the stories in the bible are real then how do you suppose that you are even here? And please don't say your mom cause that is quite clear. Well actually i guess i should ask it more like this How do you think the world began? LOL "The Big Bang Theory" LOL that never happened.

I have not read the Bible and do not plan on it. But to cut a long story short. History has a way of repeating itself. And, the things Humans were doing back in Biblical times are being repeated over and over and over with each generation;which shows we DO NOT learn from our mistakes. As far as the fairytales go.Have you ever watched a story gather legs by the time it reaches a 5th person

Christianity is a matter of faith. It is not really evidence that brings us to belief, but an inner acknowledgment that we feel apart from God and need to be reconciled. It is the relational aspect of Christianity that makes me believe in it. Humans are highly relational beings. Christianity acknowledges this and speaks to us of a relational God, in whose image we are made. We say, "But i don't feel like i have a relationship with this God, he seems so distant. i don't even know if he's there." The response is, "Yes, you are right. You are distant from God because the relationship has been broken on account of sin. Christ is the answer for how this relationship is restored. Do you want to be restored?"

Hello BadGod.. :)

I used to hate Christians..their sicky sweet attitude made me sick to my stomach.. :(

Until I had nowhere to turn..so instead of killing myself, I went to Church instead..I cursed the Pastor, even though all he said was, that he Loved me and Jesus did too..

I went back the following Sunday to do more of the same..only God had other plans for me..When the Pastor asked who wanted to be baptized, my hand went up into the air..I was bapitzed that same afternoon, right in back of the same church which I used to make fun of the children that went there..

When the Pastor asked if I believed that Jesus died for my sins, I said No..but I wanted to..I also said I did not believe that Jesus was God's Son..and if He was real, I wanted to be a better Mom to my oldest daughter..to whom I could not show any Love.. :(

I smoked a joint on my way home from Church..(I did not feel any different)..When I woke up the next morning, I was quoting scriptures..(I never read the Bible before..I used to be an Atheist..

My daughter came to see what I was doing..I said Sherry I Love You..and for the first time since she was born(she was 10 years old)..I felt it..I can not describe the peace and joy I felt deep within my heart, being able to show my Love for my little girl and mean it.. :)

I know you do not know me..so this may not be evidence to you..but for my friends and loved ones..it was proof positive that someone or something changed my life around.. :)

Drugs in my life were gone..swearing ceased immediately, I called everyone that I had been angry with, and told them I Loved them and I asked them to forgive me..

As I will do here..if I have offended anyone here..I pray you will find it in your heart to forgive me..

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ..

Ahh, its all about the heart! Not the head, honey, but the heart! You need to start thinking with your heart! What dare you desire to be true? John Eldredge, one of my favourite Christian authors, said Christianity was similar to a fairytale. True love, a cosmic battle, the King Himself desperately seeking the love of his Beloved, his creation, good triumphing, and eternal hope: "they all lived happily ever after." So many amazing things, so much that we desire for coming true! Love, beauty, truth, freedom (sounds a bit like Moulin Rouge!, just realised), being able to be who we really, really are deep down, and who we were meant to be. God always intended his truths to be for the heart first, not for the head first. And it sounds completely unbelievable. Only it is so hard to see, even if you are a Christian, even if you have seen it. So says the nutter everyone thinks is weird...

#1 we don't believe it's a "myth" at all thats b/c we have a little something called FAITH! In the bible it says to have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and he will bless you. #2 those miracles in the bible are true as well. I guess if you don't and never have had an open mind and open heart for that matter you never will have the oppurtunity to be blessed by God! I must say though if you ever change your mind God's arms will be wide open waiting for you. But I want you to know everyone has the right to their own beliefs so if its your decision not to beieve thats your decision! God Bless

Fairytales? Lets get something straight! they are NOT FAIRYTALES! the bible is evidence. some of the same stories are mentioned more then once by two different people(who didnt know each other) at two different times in two different places. Evidence or just coincidence?

Atheism is more of a fairytale than Christianity.
There's more evidence to it than you would know
and would not believe so not wasting my time
explaining the things that you already closed your
mind at. All I ask is respect for people you don't know
whether they agree or do not agree with your beliefs
esp. no calling names. You are known by your
fruits.
