Well, it obviously does some good, I haven't killed anyone yet, so its kept me calmed down. I gained like 20 pounds trying to quit, & risked the danger of heart disease from obesity, so basically it comes down to this: we are going to die. Yep, we are, one way or another. I'm not in any hurry, but its a fact and if smoking keeps me sane while I'm here, good on that.

Ok...so we already know that the traditional usage of tobacco has been hyped up with all kinds of chemicals. I don't think God created the cigar or cigarette. I read a study that scientists are experimenting with pure tobacco plant to hopefully cure diseases. They are manufacturing vaccines for certain diseases and injecting them into pure tobacco plants because they are easy to grow and the germination time is short. I say, go for it! At least tobacco will be used for something other than causing habits and cancer.

The question is frivolous. We do not set the rules for god's intentions. You suppose that god creates all things for humans to use. God created tobacco and smoke, therefore humans should use tobacco and ingest the smoke.

The suppositions are nondefensible. THere is nothing in the creation of anything that requires human's to use it.

Beauty!! Ever seen a tobacco plant? The blossoms that come on them are really beautiful to see. Just because man uses things in the wrong way does not mean God intended it for that purpose. Same can be said about the poppy. They are beautiful flowers but man has used it to destroy self. Many things God made for beauty and man has found a way to misuse it.

Creamy snuff is a tobacco paste, consisting of tobacco, clove oil, glycerin, spearmint, menthol, and camphor, and sold in a toothpaste tube. It is marketed mainly to women in India, and is known by the brand names Ipco (made by Asha Industries), Denobac, Tona, Ganesh. According to the U.S NIH-sponsored 2002 Smokeless Tobacco Fact Sheet, it is marketed as a dentifrice. The same factsheet also mentions that it is "often used to clean teeth. The manufacturer recommends letting the paste linger in the mouth before rinsing."

Tobacco water is a traditional organic insecticide used in domestic gardening.

It is produced by boiling strong tobacco in water, or by steeping the tobacco in water for a longer period. When cool, the mixture can be applied with a spray, or 'painted' on to the leaves of garden plants, where it will prove deadly to insects.

God has a good purpose behind all of his creation. It is the devil who took dominion over the earth when sin entered it, and it is the devil who perverted tobacco into the cancer-causing, addictive drug form that we know it as now. Do not blame God for evil, since it is man-kind's free will to allow evil to continue to prosper, and the devil who offers temptation to prevent us from always doing right.

tobacco can be used for medicinal purposes. If you place a tobacco leaf on a boil it will bring it to a head and therefore speeding up the process of busting.

God may have intended it to be used for some other purpose - and I don't think He created the additives that are in cigarettes.

Additionally, God does not like the sin of gluttony - which is the overuse (or abuse) of anything - including food.
