I was an abused child and had a screwed up bunch of family members. And I am telling you from my heart, alot of times people who have never felt love, safety that normal people feel with their family members also DO NOT know how to have a healthy loving relationship until they have dealt with the past, which take my word for it takes time. I know that you love this guy, and I am sure that he loves you but alot of his feelings for you is also coming from being with your family also. And I want you to do something, make a list, one side list the reasons you care and love him, and on the other side list the things that you don't like. You can not stay with someone just because you feel guilty about breaking up with them, if you end it now maybe you two could be Friends, sometimes when you wait the break up ends up bad and you end up wanting to kill eachother. He does need someone, but you can't be his mother, father, brothers, sisters, and everyone else in his life that has let him down. That is not fair to you. Your young, the things that you are dealing with are really tough. Just follow your heart. And by the way you can Love someone and not be in-Love with them.

Oh my gosh girl I was in the same situation last year. I was dating this guy and i swear his family was crazy as hell. I tryed to break it off with him so many times but he always cryed and made me feel guilty too. He was really possesive and nosy like ur boyfriend. Girl you just have to get up enough courage to tell him its over and i dont want to see you again. Because i finally did that and i felt soo relieved that i didnt have to worry about someone telling me that i couldnt do something. Good Luck Girl!

Don't feel guilty, this is a tactic used by abusers to keep their victims under their control. Get out of the relationship quick, I've seen countless women in your situation. Talk to your parents and the police. People care for you and your safety. If you need a friend to talk to contact me and I'll help you were I can.

If he wants to be like his family is then you should kick him out and let him live with them! You don't have to take his abuse, and obnoxious behavior, When he cries, and acts like a pussy when you split up with him, you should stand strong, and think of your health & well being, and not feel sorry for him! He's not feeling sorry for you when he's beating the **** out of you!
Get Rid of Him, The Sooner The Better!!!!
Good Luck, and God Bless You!!!!!!

Yes, please break up with him for yourself. No one should treat another person the way he is treating you. Your boyfriend (and his family) needs help, but that is not your responsibility. Kick him out of your house, change the locks and move on with your life. There are many great guys out there who will love you and treat you right. For more information on abuse, see this website:

abuse in anyform is abuse hitting or yelling. dont put up with any of this. if you continue to do so this will become a habit and you will always have abuse in yr life. get out of the relationship now before you get hooked up in it. abusers always say sorry cry and everything you can think of to get back. but guess what they do it again and again.

Kick his *** to the curb. you can't help he's messed up in the head. Take control of your life before you get pregnant and have to tolerate his *** longer.
