I understand what you're trying to do, but asking people if they've "tried" Christ makes it seem like a "try before you buy" mentality. That's the problem...we have many people, calling themselves Christians when all they are are people who are "trying" on Jesus, not really getting too close or too deep. Don't want to look like a Jesus freak or anything that would make them look foolish. My friend, "trying" Christ's love isn't a pool you dip your toe into and decide it's not exactly what you thought it would be. You dive in, accepting all of it. You embrace all of what God wants for your life, learning all you can so that you can live the life that God had planned for you from the very beginning. You see, I was one of those who "tried" Christ, only taking a little nibble. I didn't want the whole thing because I was afraid of who I would become. But, in time, I saw that Jesus is an "all or nothing" kinda guy. He wants to use all of me, not just the leftovers that I'm willing to give Him. So, I'm here to say don't "try" Christ. Jump in all the way...the living water is great! <*)))><

We have archeological evidence of the existence of Jesus Christ; therefore, it's not a myth. It Jesus truly existed and He really did all the things that are said and written of Him, why don't people serve Him?
Generally speaking, people are always looking for the easier route. People expect to eat without working for it; earn lots of money without contributing for it; be regarded in high esteem without honesty, etc.. As a result, when it comes to Jesus, too much is asked of them.
It is not easy to serve Jesus Christ, especially when you're not yet a Believer. As a Chritian, you cannot lie to, cheat, steal, deceive, injure, kill, belittle, slander, degrade, etc. other people, and since those are the way of the world, it's very hard for people to serve Christ.
The Bible says though His burden is light. The world does not know, and how would the world know unless she comes and bows before Christ. I am telling you that she will never know. However, just like the housebuilder knows the house and knows which kinds of bricks, cements, tiles, etc. that will be best for the house, Jesus knows us and knows what's best for us. That is why He is asking us to lead a godly life, free from impurities of this world.
Once you have attained the life that Jesus is required of us. You will know what love means. The Bible says that God is love, and whatever people call love is naught but a veiled and empty form of the real love that Jesus is showing us. Believe in Him and embrace Him, your life will never be the same. I cannot explain it to you because that which is so wonderful cannot be said, but you will at last know that love really is eternal and true.

Everyone has His love...the difference is how everyone treats it. Those who have truly tried salvation in Christ find out it's a lot of fun to be loved by Him, and that it is quite an adventure!

I do now. But not before I tried and failed miserably several times. There would be some traumatic circumstance that would make me turn to Jesus like being hurt by someone I love, feeling guilt over something I did, etc. Once I felt better though I'd go right back to my sinful life. I did this on again off again Christianity for almost 5 years. And one day God got my attention and I knew I had to stop playing with Him. I knew God loved me, but he hated my sins, not me. My sins...not me. He loved me even in the worst sins and believe me some of them were bad. But I gave my life Him for real and I know I'm forgiven and that's why I say yes I have His love. You do too, no matter what state or place you're in. GOD LOVES YOU. and that's not just lip service.

If you really love Jesus Christ as the King of kings and Lord of lords and not the diminished Jesus (merely the son of a greater father like you would see in the world), then you can look forward to baptism with water, and with the spirit and fire (three baptisms instead of one).

Oh, if only more people would open themselves up to experience the love of Christ! He has, truly, given my heart that inner peace that the world cannot give.
Please, please, those who have not given Christ a chance, open your hearts. You are missing the greatest experience life has to offer....

I'm sure a lot of people have taken Him into their hearts. But, I also think that a lot of people are trying to understand other religions and cultures and what they have to offer. Just like anything that goes on in the world, people, as individual humans, don't like to be told what to do or what to believe. We are a society that likes our freedom and that also includes religion.

sorry to many of you but i believe that Jesus Christ was another messenger to the humanity like buddha or prophet muhammad. I think that loving God is more important because we alredy have His Love because he only sends the loved ones to enjoy the gift of life.
