Ok, I met this girl online and she seems really cool. I wanted to arrange a meeting with her but she says that she is just getting over someone. I have respect for her doing this, but how am I suppose to start somthing if she's not willing?

If you wait and be patient with her, she'll come around in her own time, and with more respect and appreciation for you than she would have otherwise. Good luck.

I have been meeting and dating guys online a long time. Be patient. She is being smart waiting to get over things alittle more. It isn't good to jump into another relationship right away. It depends on how long you were in the last one.
Maybe she wouldn't mind meeting her for a cup of coffee or a soda. Nothing stronger. Just to sit and talk. And see how it goes. Don't push for more until she is ready.

Well I have the same problem with guys I meet online. For us women though we have to wait to be asked so if a guy seems unavailable after a couple weeks of chatting, I delete him.

As far as being a guy, I would suggest meeting for coffee or something lite. If she still makes the excuse about getting over the guy, then she is a waste of your time as she isn't ready for a relationship.

You people! Don't meet?!? then why are you here?!?
Online is a way for folks to meet and become friends. Better than hanging out in the bars.

But to answer your question, take your time. Respect her space. Just let her know whenever she's ready to meet she can name the time and place and terms. For its alot more dangerous out there for us girls than it is for you guys. But none the less every precaution should be taken to insure both of you the safety you deserve.

Would you like me to answer honestly?
You don't.
There are millions of police reports stating that people who meet online, and eventually meet in person run a high risk of not only dissappointment but a large felony may occur.
If your really sure that this is someone you can trust, go ahead and meet just as friends. Nothing more.

You don't. You go out and meet a real person. Have you ever heard of online perdators? People get raped and murdered doning exactly what you are suggesting. Crazy people have to meet people online because there is something wrong with them.

You AREN'T supposed to if she's not willing.
Be patient, and be her friend for now. Chat online or on the phone. I had just gotten over an ex when I met my husband online. He was my 'friend' for months before we ever met in person.
We talked on the phone, exchanged pics, I would even tell him about guys I had dates with...and he'd give me advice.
We've now been together 6 years!!

You don't you loser. She's a fat slob like all these other girls online. They flirt online to make themselves feel better. The hottest girls are looking for you in the real world not online.
