If your pupils are different sizes, then they can tell that you might have a variety of conditions, like a concussion, or bleeding in your brain. It's a good initial indicator that they use to see if more tests are needed. Also, if your pupils don't contract together at the same rate, then that can show damage to one side of your brain. Pupils that don't contract at all are an indicator of severe brain damage and possibly increased pressure on your brain and spinal cord.
