My parents are currently living with my older sister. My mom is disabled and provides babysitting for sisters 3 children. Now my sister says that she wants them to move out and this 15 year old kid of hers can watch the other two! My parents have a limited income and it will be hard for them to make it on their own. They refuse to move in with me because of the bad experience they had with my older sister. Disown or not?

your sister is a loser. However, is low income housing out their for disabled seniors. YOu could be a comfort and help to them by checking into it and giving the info to them. IF they do not accept then you have done your best to help out. LEt your sister know how you feel even if she refused to listen you can write her and know you did your absolute best to help. Of course, the way you are describing it makes your sister sound bad because that is your intention. There are too many things that we do not know for anyone to be able to answer this question. For example, how is it that your parents can't make it on their own? Did they not plan properly for their retirement? Why does your sister want them out? Are they hard to live with? Etc, etc. etc. If you TRULY want them to come live with you and they have no alternative, then they will. My guess is that you don't want it.

Stay out of it. You cannot know how things were in your sisters house. Just be supportive of both your sister and your parents but not commenting about one to the other. No need for you to end up in the middle.

It's your sister's choice. You should step up to the plate and offer to let them live with you.
