I have recently come out of the closet as a homosexual. How do I tell my family when this is considered a sin in Islam- one in which I could be put to death for in a Muslim nation.

I am considering getting a sex change so that I may be a heterosexual again. Girls do not interest me anymore.

YOU ARE A FAKE

Don't anyone here believe for one minute that he is a muslim or ever was.

I have read your other questions and you are not even a person who thinks he is a muslim, you are a fake, only doing this to discredit Islam and muslims.

And to the person on this board who said that they heard or thought that most muslims are gay, that is propaganda and lies, and this question by this FRAUD is just here to perpetuate that falsehood.

Many cultures consider homosexuality a sin. If you think your family is driven more by religious belief than in love for their son, you probably shouldn't tell them. If you think they will accept you regardless, just sit them down and explain.

Getting a sex change will not make you a heterosexual. It will simply remove your male organs and replace them with female. You are still the same person inside. Accept that you are a man who is homosexual instead of hetero. There is nothing wrong with it, it is only the small minded and the fanatically religious who think it is wrong. Our sexual preferences are what they are, we have no choice in them any more than we can choose whether or not we are right handed or left handed.

Don't tell anyone in your family you are gay unless they ask. If they do ask you, consider how they ask. Are they angry? If so, tell them it's none of their business. If they ask out of concern for your well being, then calmly explain to them that you are gay. Once the cat is out of the bag, allow them time to come to terms with this aspect of you they may have been in denial about for a long time. Being in the closet to your family is not living a lie. It's keeping the peace. What they don't know won't hurt them. It can hurt you if they decide that Islam is more important than you are. Either way, prepare for a separation period. You can't be gay under your Islamic parents roof. You can't be happy until you can explore who you are as a person and be free of criticism from those who love you. If you can't change, you can't expect anyone else to. Sometimes we just have to accept the loss of our loved ones when we openly admit that we are gay. You can start your own family and move on like I did after years of rejection from my Southern Baptist family who silently rejected me for years when someone told them I was gay and I admitted it.

I see that you're in a complicated difficulty, very comparable to those gays/GLBT who per chance have very strictly non secular Christian father and mother. AFAIK, The Koran, same because the Christian Bible has an absolute prohibition of Sodomy. many human beings, even if Christian or Muslim, take this because absolutely the understand God/Allah, and therefore in case your father and mother are like that, they'd certainly disown you, throw you out of the homestead, decrease up relations photos and deny you have ever lived. besides the undeniable fact that many Christians take a extra pragmatic view. thinking the Christian Bible, The previous testomony became written in historic Hebrew some 3,000 years in the past and the recent testomony became written historic Greek 2,000 years in the past, some issues would are starting to be "lost" or a minimum of replaced in translation. Given The Koran became written down some 1400 years in the past, it would nicely be argued that that is extra precise and there is a lot less danger of blunders/alterations happening between previous classical Arabic and present day known Arabic. besides the undeniable fact that even evaluate the former English of The King James Bible written about 400 years in the past, the English language has replaced a honest bit on condition that then, now and again we've an same be conscious besides the undeniable fact that it has a somewhat diverse of thoroughly diverse which potential. My Mum's been a Christian all her existence and wouldn't have a project with me. My older brother and his Catholic spouse even do not have any project with me. I truly do not have any project with me, hi God is the excellent author and he made me this way for a reason ! I truly desire and pray for you that your father and mother will be strong in the direction of you (in case you do opt for to inform them, yet i'd advise you do not tell them something yet, wait until eventually when you've moved out of homestead first ! ) yet usually those who're strictly non secular, even if Jewish, Christian, Catholic or Muslim... do no longer discover any type of "gay" behaviour or inclination perfect (even if male or lady) Cheerio and each and every of the superb

This is a big reason why religion bothers me. People that choose religion and beliefs over their own flesh and blood.

I suggest you tell them. They can't really kill you (Go USA) and if they would be so shallow as to disown you because of that, then the heck with them. There are plenty of "sins" that theists do - what happens when you sin in other ways? Will they disown you for eating too much?

I feel sorry for you or anyone going through this.

Islam does not consider having a homosexual orientation a sin. Homosexual acts are the sin. Islam calls for it's followers to abstain from sinning. Don't sin.

Here's what you do....got immedaitely to nearest travel agent and purchase a one-way plane ticket to the extreme opposite side of the world. Then when you get there go to the nearest store and buy one 5-minute calling card and immediately take a bus to the furthest phone booth you can find. Then take a series of deep breaths and dial the phone number to your house and ask to speak to your parents.....

Point is...you might be surprised how well they take it....

Hide in the closet, wait until everyone is in the room, jump out and say 'I came out the closet!" if they dont get it then no skin off your back.
