What do you mean by that? Do I believe that the bible is the word of God? Or that Jesus Crist was the son of God? Or that God sent Jesus down to die for our sins and rose 3 day later?
Christians don't expect you to share our beliefs just because we tell you so or that it is written in a book. We do,however, HOPE that you can learn what we believe to be the truth. And that you can share in the joy we have in knowing God has a place for all of in his heart.
If you went to a restruant that served really good food, wouldn't you want others to have that same experience? If so, you would probably want to tell other people about it so they can have a chance to find out for theirself.
Would you expect that every person you told about it to go there and eat? Probably not.
Many people will say that Christopher Columbus and Copernicus were able to prove there beliefs to correct, what about Christians?
I don't have DNA, or pictures, or any phyiscal evidence to support my belief. But I do believe that one day the truth will be revealed...but by then it will be too late.
Since you believe that christianity is "biblical wholly ***" I'm going to assume that you have actually READ the bible.
If you have not, isn't that like saying that the restruant has horrible food when you actually never been there?

I'm not a Christian (as most Christians define that term), and I don't believe any Christian thinks everyone is going to buy into the bible as the literal and absolute word of God. Do you know any Christian who thinks everyone will buy into the Bible's teachings (assuming we believe there is one irrefutable interpretation of those teachings)? Perhaps what you meant to ask is "Why do Christians think everyone SHOULD buy into biblical teachings?" That's a different question and has different answers depending on which Christian you ask.
Now my question is for the people who answered who seem to think that questions like this one don't belong on this site. Who said this is a CHRISTIAN site and questions about Christianity don't belong here??? Questions about the relevance and correctness of Christian teaching (and anything else--it's a wide-open field) absolutely belong here. So back off, people! You may think you own the TRUTH (debatable), but you don't own Yahoo Answers!

I don't believe everyone will believe the Bible. Some people are reprobate and blinded by sin
In anycase, its the Holy Spirit that convicts of sin, righteouness and judgement. NOT ME.
Convict has the same root as convince. Did you catch that?

We know that everyone isn't going to believe. That is their free choice not to. But as many as will hear the word of God we are told to tell them the truth. Matthew 28:19-20 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
I am just one beggar telling other beggars where I found food and shelter. It's your choice to go and get the food or not.

I don't know what "wholly ****" is but I know for myself coming from the world, we just try to help those who are lost and want help. No one can shove anything down your heart through your ears, only God can touch those He is calling to be called His children.

Gods children back to him theres is going to be a "HELL" of alot more people in hell then there will be in HEAVEN Many are called but few a chosen I am really sorry for you if you go there i would not want to see any one there but its a fact just like its a fact we have so many prisons full of people now tell me we don't.

It is true that some people will not believe, the Bible even says that. Those people will have to stand before God in judgement and because they don't have their name in the Lambs Book of Life they will be condemned to eternal Hell and suffering.
