Unless he believes its absolutely necessary or a means to get something, he probably would prefer to 'conserve' his energy! It can get so bad some boys would not take a bath/shower unless there is a date or a need to go out with friends in places to impress others.Guess what? Find ways of disturbing that sleep. Call his cell phone or something. Exchange chores or find him a reward with Mom or dad.Tell him you will invite his girlfriend home. Blackmail always works. If none of these work. Leave his portion of the cleaning for him to get to when he wakes up. Be firm and consistent with your treaths, he will get it

b/c there trying to get out of it,
me and my sister have to share a room and she is a year younger then me and a lot messier, and since im almost never home, then she completely screws up our room, and then when im told to clean it then she lays down and goes to sleep or she'll sit right in the middle of the floor and bug me to the point where i just tell her to get out, and seeing as i have to put things a certain way then i guess its better that way lol

Because he is basically lazy. He probably doesn't like to clean so he sleeps instead.
