It can be the worse pain you'll ever feel, until you realize its not going to kill you and it ends up making you stronger...its just that first love gone wrong puts you in unfamiliar emotional territory..you know its not going to stay this bad but not knowing for how long makes it seem like there is no end to the pain it causes...any broken heart hurts...but that first one...ooouch!

if it is true love and u really care about him/her it would hurt you. But if the other person is happy, it would satisfy you cause that's what love means. and yeah u mentioned first love but i think that u can find only 1 true love and others are just full of compromise which hurts, but in true love u do anything for them.

YES! Learning what love is and interacting in a relationship for the first time can end up devastating when you realize that it is work not all fun. When you see the light and get married you embark on a wonderful journey with that person and for me it was the second person.

When you loose your first love .. yes it does...coz it's the first time you are left with feelings and regrets after the end of a relationship.. then it still hurt, but you've already been there, so you know how to deal with it

Generally speaking, first loves almost always end. So when that love does end, one will not have experience coping with a break-up, so the pain will be a lot worse because the person will not have a familiarity with their way of dealing with a break-up.

Not always, but sometimes because you don't have the experience to make the relationship work or you aren't willing to fight for it...a lot of reasons. But no more reasons than why other relationships after the first hurt. Just have a bit of faith in it. :)

Oh yes.....and still hurts with second and third loves as well. Why do we do this to ourselves??? Hmmm....like I always say it is better to have lived and loved than to go through this life without love at all.
