How can anyone not be addicted to sex? married couples do it all the time is that an addiction? I think the freedom that you may have experienced is that you took control and it doesn't control your life anymore! Honestly looking at porn itsn't harmful unless your wifey isn't comfortable, and the committing adultery hurts someone and I know humans don't want to hurt each other. But also food can control someone's life into obesity or anorexia, workaholics or alcoholic, druggies let those control their lives you get the idea. As my gma used to say " Everything in moderation" if you are comfortable and doesn't harm you or anybody else. have fun in life dude : )

Of course. When ever we experience emotions or sexual arousal our brain's hypothalamus releases chemicals into the blood that that make us, just to name a few, blush, speed up our heart rate or give us a hard on. Our body gets addicted to these chemicals and we then seek out more of that experience. These form habits. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. Ever heard the term "adrenaline junky". This is scientific fact and it has been observed by many people who have performed hundreds of tests.

I don't get enough sex these days to be addicted to it. I usually find when I'm with a new partner and it gets sexual that for the first year or so I am practically addicted to sex, then it wears off or they make excuses as they're worn out.......

G-- never held it against you in the first place. Your acceptance of, belief in, Jesus and what He taught merely allows you to know and experience His complete acceptance and unconditional love for you. He invented sex, man didn't, and His "commandments" are not arbitraty rules to follow, but instructions on how to appropriate His best for our lives. One has not known ultimate pleasure until one experiences the "spiritual orgasm" commonly known as ecstacy.
Our Father never punishes, He only disciplines for our long range highest eternal good. He is never punitive, always redemptive. We are not punished for our sins, but rather by our sins. For sin is anything that is destructive or diminishes His best for our lives. Think on these thoughts.

I've seen this in action before in my life and in other people's lives. It is horrible. The only person that can truly heal you from this sort of meaningless existence is God.

I am addicted to oxygen.
If I am without it for more than a few minutes, I get withdrawal symptoms.
