i want to ask something that might sound a bit weird?

do you think that ghosts realy exist and if they do what exacly are they
oh and can you please tell me some real ghost stories because i'm going to camp soon and i want to tell some of them to my friends

actually, I don't know any stories that are non-real and made up for this night camping stories...

But I remember my mother telling me something freaky. My Grandmother (my mom's mom) died when I was 20 months old. My mom was very said after she died. And then, somehow, on the 40th day since my Grandmother's death, my mom saw my Grandma's ghosts in that house where she lived with us for a while... She just saw her ghost lying on the coach. My mom said she froze not believing her eyes... The ghost didn't say anything but simply smiled and left (probably through the wall) and never returned... since we moved. Probably, her ghost is still there... in that old small village house we lived in... may be hounting it. But I don't think that my mom will ever see her ghost again... only in her night dreams.

Well I think that it's possible for ghosts to exist, I've watched that Ghost Hunters show on tv and some of the stuff people think that ghosts have done isn't really ghost related it's just how a building was built or the wind triggering something to happen. Other stuff still can't be explained and could be ghosts. So I'm sort of half and half when it comes to if ghosts are real. I don't have any good ghost stories otherwise I would totally share!

when i was a freshman in high school, we lived in a house in the country next to a railroad track, the main line was still there, there was a spur track that went to another small town, the spur track was no longer in use. If everyone was in bed and asleep by 11pm, at around 11:30 all of a sudden, you would hear a door slam, then you would smell pipe smoke. At first it startled us, we thought someone was breaking into the house. Sometime later I had stopped to speak with an old woman that lived about a 1/2 mile down the road from me. She told me for years and years a widower who worked for the railroad, one of his jobs was to go out at about 11pm to switch the track on the spur after the last train went thru, then he would return home. Best of all he smoked a pipe! So the noises we heard was his ghost returning to the house after switching the last train the door slam then the pipe smoke. If anyone was awake and up you wouldn't hear it, but if everyone was asleep it would happen every time.

Ditto on the angel bit. I also think that demons are very real as well.

When I was about....16yrs old, I was trying to wake up and was pinned down to my bed by a force so strong it scared me. I couldn't really open my eyes and when I did, I tried to scream and nothing would come out. I started praying in my mind and then all of the sudden I was able to sit up and breathe.
After that, I met with my Pastor and he told me that demons do attack us while we sleep sometimes. That was freaky!
For a while, I slept with my bible under my pillow and did that until after I had my first kid. LOL
Now it seems like it was a silly thing to do, but at least I'm aware that demons are real and pray for God's protection from them as a part of my daily prayer life.
I'm not much of a story teller, but if you want to have some fun with your friends you can use my story and just put some stank on it. They might enjoy it! LOL

I think that they do exist, and most of them i guess i would call them unrestful spirets or something like that. Yes i can give you stories, from my personal expirience. One time my youth group had a service project, we were going to help fix up the yard of a house where they take care of children who have been abused. So my friend and i went to take out the trash, and by then it was rather dark, and then I felt this really creepy feeling and looked up to see a boy standing behind an upstairs window, then i blinked and he was gone. The thing was no-one was home at the time except the owner of the house.
then another time my little sister and i were playing and at the exact same time we both heard a women scream from in our basement. My mom was near-by but she didn't hear anything, and my brother who was at the time talking on the phone in the basement didn't hear anything.

Ghosts don't really exsist, but spirits do in two forms, angels and demons, if you want a ghost story I have one, I have this friend named Mike, anyway his sisters were always picking on him when he was young so they locked him in a room that was said to be haunted by demons, It had two beds and a bookshelf with a bunch of books in it, now the room was complete closed off to light except through the cracks in the doorway. He went on the bed, and after a few minutes, something started to happen, the bookshelf rattled and the sound of books flying were echoing throughout the room, Mike got scared and ran to the doorway screaming to get out, his sisters opened the door and they saw that one of the beds was thrown on top of the other(good thing Mike got off) and the bookshelf was on the floor and the books were lying everywhere. (creepy huh?)

What I believe is not nearly as important as what you believe.

One time when I was camping with my brothers, I fell asleep in the tent I shared with my older brother. Sometime during the night I woke up because the flap was open and rain was pouring in.

I kicked my brother for leaving the flap open when I got up to close it. He was curled up in his sleeping bag. And, when I kicked him, he just kind of grumbled, but didn't say anything.

I fell asleep to the sound of rain falling on the tent.

The next morning, we were sitting around the campfire having breakfast. I complained to my brother about his leaving the tent flap open.

He gave me a funny look and shrugged. I repeated my complaint and noticed my other two brothers were staring at me as if I was crazy.

As it turns out, when it started raining, he crawled into the car and went to sleep. They thought I was crazy, but I know someone or something was in his sleeping bag.

I suppose I'll never know what it was, but whatever it was, it left me a note saying that if you don't email me a chocolate chip cookie, it will visit you while you are camping.

ghosts are supposedly people who died, and for various reasons, never went to an aflter life, and were "left behind" to haunt those living here, but I believe in ghosts, i believe they are all around us, and you just can't see them, they are in your house, and sometime's they appear to us, like this one at a camsite not far from where you live (if you catch my drift) one dark night in th year 1952, a young woman, about 16 was on her way home from a sleepover where she said she couldn't sleep, so she decided to leave. while she was walking by a road, a car driving insanely fast, hit her knocking her lifeless body to the groud, as the drunk teenager got out of the car, he noticed that he had not hit some animal, but a girl who went to his school, he didn't know her, so he decided to leave and go home where his parents woke up to find his body in the closet hanging from a noose with a note that said, she came back. and to this day she haunts the road that runs by this campsite moaning and wailing looking for a ride to her house that she never returned to. she is buried not far from here, in fact on the other side of this camp there lies a headstone that reads, lucielle Tarpey, 1937-1953,
