Why do Illegal Aliens get more benefits that a retired US Military Member?

We spend more on Illegal aliens through health care, education, and correctional institutes than we do on those who fought and gave over twenty years of their life for this Great Country

I'm sorry you think so... then again, all the quiet, hard-working illegals carry the fruit and vegetable market and a lot of the worst jobs in the U.S. And if you're ever been a legal foreigner (don't worry, I got out) in the U.S., you'd know they take it out on us. Tax for many foreigners is a solid 30%, even if you're sub-poverty.
The problem isn't with how the U.S. treats the immigrants (pretty badly, actually). The problem is that they don't take care of their military vets. But the two problems are not related. Or they are, in the sense that you have a government that doesn't care for people in general.
P.S. The bulk of illegals get no education, health care, or a cent of public help. I was legal, paid more taxes than many Americans, and I still wasn't eligible for any public services. They really are NOT stealing your money, I promise.

Because there are politically correct people around. Not only illegal immigrants, even convicted serial killers get better excess to healthcare than decorated Vets.

Most answers I got were nasty to me.
Hospitals are forced to provide emergency care to all - even if they do not have insurance. Schools whine about 'no child left behind' as an unfunded mandate. This is far worse. It has forces hospitals into bankrupsy and shut downs.
They are not even allowed to ask people if they are in USA legally and refer the illegals to INS.
Of course there are bleeding heart PC liberals who think that it is govenrment's responsibility to provide healthcare for 'undocumented immigrants' - they don't even use the word 'illegal'. Like Teressa Kerry - most bleeding heart liberals' heart bleeds ketchup! If it was all paid by thier own money, they would not be so freaking bleeding heart!
I say: all these illegals are actually legal citizens of some other countries. Let those countries' governments take responsibility for the healthcare of their own citizens.
Many illegals show up in Emergency Rooms at meal times just so they get a free meal. That is a $750.00 sandwitch that I and you pay for.

P.S. You may not believe this but I am an immigrant - the kind that waits turn, gives fingerprints and gets photographed, learns English, pays taxes, does not bring multi-drug resistant Tuberculosis along and does not live in one bedroom apartment with 16 other people.

Something never surprises people in other countries is the iddle entertainment of dellusions some americans and europeans dwell into, like thinking and saying certain lines are convincing or truthfull as to be believable or amusing.
Your "military" are regarded as true heroes by politicians yet does anyone actually know of their activities abroad and condemns these? It can be controversial that many regard no respect upon foreigners and criminals, yet these people get to trouble to earn a living and get along with others as well, that sure deserves credit if not respect.
Sure many want to be informed and supported when theorise and say some sweet things, even about family, yet in most families some controversy is ammounted and dismissed with love. Something like that could happen in young minds for others unknown. Smiling first and being thoughtfull does help, see truth in your own, and will see some are not exactly likable yet live already at large, it is not conscious some get papers in a country other might have more right to be, even in our continent many americans live abroad and are not disrespected for national origin because this is our continent, not only an alloted space. What I mean is that some do not believe papers are a necesity plus they are earning a living. What could be wrong with that regardless of especulation and sorrow?
You will probably say I am being not respectful yet not get to dissapointment being provided for proper efforts not towards you. After all law and respect are not granted, right?

Unfortunately because a retired US military member is of no use to the big corporations who run this administration ... illegal aliens now, that's a different matter ... just another example of how this administration doesn't give a rat's **** about its own citizens, not even those who have fought and bled for this country ... so the tax dollars could be squandered on illegal aliens ... it makes me sick!!

I'm ok that the retired military don't get too much, but you don't know nothing about in migrants because if we're not here nobody is gonna paint your house, cut the grass and pick the fruits from the fields, so before you say something like that get informed please.

Give me some facts to read over, something to back up your question. And of course only illegals commit crime, god forbid a white person would. What about Veterans, you failed to mention them, some people retire but never see combat. Of course the illegals are the enemy here because they tell the employer how much to pay them right? Why not crack down on real issues like making employers pay no less than minimum wage, and make sure they don't hire unless the person has legal right to work here. Easy to point the finger at others who can't defend back. Of course illegals are big criminals, what was i thinking, i remember the unibomber, zodiac killer, oklahoma city bomber, damn illegals, oh wait they were not illegals, my mistake.

Where is your evidence for that? There may be extreme circumstances where it is true but most illegal aliens don't get a look in.
If you only did 20 years waiting for a war that never happened you should be working another 20 years yet anyway.

Only one of the many reasons why people are pissed off in this country. My father served in WWII at the Battle of the Bulge under Patton's army. He is 83 years old, and barely surviving on Social Security. Yet the illegals are doing just great aren't they?

That isn't true. Military always has better health insurance, Nd they pay for most of your education. as far as correctional, well the Military men are smart enough not to get arrested.

i think it's riduculous as well. i work part-time and go to school for nursing but make too much to qualify for state funded health insurance and private insurance would cost me almost 1/2 of what i make a month. i think it's time we stop taking pity on these people and stop letting them leech off the government.
