My mom is with Saga and she was hit by a landrover . She wasnt at fault as he rammed her.
Saga kept saying they didnt have all the info on the crash every time she phoned. They would quote the name of some other person, not the guy who crashed into her and the details of the crash were wrong. My mom kept having to correct them!. She was offer a curtsy car by them and they told her the the hire company would phone her. She had two hire companies phone... one claiming to be the approved Saga hire company, the other claiming to be the new one that saga use. Both companies where telling my mom not to use the other. In the end she refused any car from either.
The one car company seemed like a scam. As they try to get the money back from the insurance claim, but you sign papers to say if thy dont get payment - they will get it from you.
When the damage was inspected and got a repair date , she phoned Saga , who told her that they didnt know all the facts of the accident etc.....
Finally she has had her car repaired and it looks great, but she could have done without the bullship and the poor quality amature customer service.

If you are over 50, like trips to Eastbourne then they are good, but they are slightly pricey!

There are many on the High Street, but use a broker like www.confused.com. I bet there is savings to be made on Insurance for you.

Good Luck.

They pretend to specialize but it is a ploy to rip off self selecting oldies by pretending to be exclusive.

The oldest (hee hee ) trick in the book.

Barclays Bank are miles cheaper. If they can't beat your renewal quote they give you £50 and beat it by a quid anyhow.
