Greetings,
Your 28 mb card is dependent upon your camera's setting relative to the pixel. The higher the setting - the fewer the pics.
My 512 card will hold over 125 pics at it's highest pix setting of 5 megs per pic. The camera setting should tell you what the megs are- just jdo the math and go from there. If you do not have camera with an adjustable setting just do a yahoo search for the camera's specs - the info will be somewhere on that page.

Usually the average size of photograph is 350 KB to 400 KB so that way it can hold around 70 to 80 photos.
Simple way to calculate:
28 MB x 1024 KB = 28672 KB / 350 KB = 81 photos.

It depends on the resolution of the pictures. For example, at 1600 X 1200 pixels it may hold less than 30 pictures. If you lower the resolution to 800 X 600 it may hold about 100.

It depends on how many megapixel your camera support. But for sure 28mb is almost nothing. Just for you to have any idea, 6-Megapixel is about 20 Megabytes. It better to buy a 256 mb or even larger depending on how many pictures you want to take before download it to your computer.

Are you sure it is not a 128mb..... a 28 is very small and the photos will be poor quality. If you turn it to 'best' you will be lucky to get five or six, 'fair' setting will give you no more than 15 but the printing will be very poor. I still think it is 128...........

It all depends on how big you set your photos to be and what the resolution is.
