Why do teenagers always have those sudden moodswings?

I can't stand Martin, a year old. Whenever there's a little flaw in what he's done, and someone mentions it, he goes crazy! Why do they have those moodswings?

I'm sorry, I wrote, "he is years old", I meant that he is 14 years old.

I could be cause you are goin through puberty, all those hormonal changes and school stuff, like peer presswure etc.

One word for you. Hormones. Mix a little testosterone with anger, anxiety, or any other emotion, and things can get a little volatile. It’s not just young men, woman “that time of the month”, and older women going through menopause can be a little volatile as well. No disrespect intended to women going through that. But excessive hormone levels in one direction or another can make for a tense situation when someone pushes the right button.

Yep, hormones. I have a 12yo daughter - she's PMS'g and I'm menopausal. It's not fun. Even the dogs leave the room when her extra estrogen balks at my memory loss. Read. Alot. I went to the library and pulled off the shelf anything and everything to do with adolescence and teens. Oh, and pray. Alot. Best wishes!
