Depo will make you have mood swings, after all, it is hormones you're taking. I took the shot back in the day and it did the same thing to me, but severely. I had to get off them. Talk to your doctor, maybe she can give you some advise or even get you on some other kind of birth controll. In the mean time, let your bf know you are going to be a real b**ch for the next few days and that is due to your birth controll. If he is as smart as he sounds he will steer a wide path when you go on a tirade. Your body will eventually adjust to the swarm of hormones and you will be back to normal. Write him a letter and leave it where he can find it, telling him you love him and not to take anything you say or do personally for the next few days to weeks.

sorry you're having a bad time.I loved the depo shot but its good that you are not taking it any more. My surgeon said that it was the reason that I had to have surgery, 8 cysts on my ovary as bog as golf balls. very painful.
Just remind him that he is still the one ans every week or so in the bedroom show him that it is all about him. He might be a little more accepting of the situation, plus he might return the favor.

I was on Depo at one time too....it really changed me too. As far as doing something for your boyfriend, take him somewhere he likes to go that you can do together. For instance, my husband loves cars and drag racing....for him I would take him to the nearest race track and watch him have a good time. Just the act of being unselfish(not that you are selfish) toward him would probably make up for the inevitable mood swings you're experiencing.

I would write him a letter expressing how you feel to reassure him. You should also plan a nice weekend or just a day for the two of you to spend some quality time together. Sometimes it's just the little things you do that make a relationship work. Send him a text message or email in the middle of the day just to say you love him, buy him a lovey dovey card, or just do something silly but sweet. Guys like to feel important and adored just like we girls do.

First, get a different doctor. If his answer was to "deal with it" then he is not a true professional. Not every form of birth control is for every women, that's why there are so many different types. I personally have known some women to go balistic on one form of birth control...the trick is to find the one that works with your system and you must have a doctor that will help you determine which one that is. The doctor works for you, fire him. Once you find the right doctor and birth control, you and your boyfriend will be much happer

--Having been married to a Latina and lived in a suburb 95% Latino, my advice is concentrate on your temper and mood. The Hispanic people are very passionate, too passionate. It has been their driving force for centuries, but it has also been their biggest flaw. Work hard to govern yourself. When you start getting mad, irate, inflamed, step-back see what the situation really is and not how it makes you feel. Do this and you don't have to lose your passion, but it will give you an excellent opportunity to shape it.

When you get home, scream everything out in your pillow! If you can't hold it back, give your boyfriend a letter explaining how you feel about him and how the mood swings need to be dealt with. Then he'll know not to be sad if you scream at him or something

depo is terrible, i agree, let him know you love him and give him a thank you card.
dont get it again and try the rythym method. What is to be is to be.
