I made him a card, a birthday hat, and im going to put dinosuar feet on the wall which he will have to try and find the one with the cake drawn on to get his birthday cake... the cake is going to be a dinosaur cake! The icing i have is white, but i have dye to make it blue, red, or purple... a blue dinosuar sounds okay, his birthday card is red... what about purple?? is that -too- childish and 'girly' or do you think he will like it? Only he and i are going to be at this party xP what do you all think?

Sounds fantastic! It shows you really care, and if he has a sense of humor he should enjoy it too. After all it IS the thought that counts.Just having someone close to you on your B-day means alot. If it was done for me I'd be overjoyed. The difference in colors just adds to the brightness of the occasion. He should consider himself a very lucky man.

The only time you make a dinosaur cake for your husband is if you have children or he is a archaeologist. Purple is like making him a barney cake. Not a good choice. If you decide to do this make it Blue that is a manly color.

If he likes dinosaurs it sounds cool. There hasnt been one birthday yet that I havnt put Ninja Turtles or some other cartoon characters on my husbands cakes. Just cause your married doenst mean that you cant have fun or do fun stuff anymore.

ummmm...... how old is he?? Are sure you're not thinking of your son here? I mean it's cute and a lot of effort put in, but dinosaurs and stuff seems a little young.
