I have used it. It isn't my place to judge anyone, but I do feel that this is a serious place to ask questions and get silly and should not be used as a forum for obscene or profane behavior.
When you post in a public forum, you have the responsibility to be considerate of the most innocent, conservative people who might view your questions or answers.
Those who are more liberal minded won't be offended and everyone will have an opportunity to read and review questions.
When people register to use Yahoo! Answers, they agree to abide by the terms of service. Those terms aren't just lip service, but are designed to protect the innocent sensibilities of some of the participants.
Intelligent, philosophical and thought based debates are a kick to read and participate in. That's what I look for. Enlightenment of my own thoughts and providing answers to those who sincerely seek them.
To those who post offensive material, try reworking your questions or answers to show how intelligent and caring you are. You might be surprised at the respect you get.

That is not a good idea because there are very overly sensitive assholes here that would get offended if they saw the word vagina on a question. No matter what the context was, just because of the word they would erase the question. These assholes would go around deleting things that question their beliefs and religion, it would pretty much defeat the purpouse of freedom of speech because a few dickfaces don't like the question.

No I would not use it...if I was that offended by question or answers that appear here, I simply would not visit Yahoo! Answers anymore.
What right do we have as an individual to censor other people's thoughts and views? This would not be a democracy if we all had to think and act the same way. Plus, it would be extremely boring.

I don't believe in censorship. I just choose not to read things that I find offensive, but I do not believe in censoring content from others. That is there choice to make.

I wouldn't use that option, if a person asks an offensive stupid question it should stay up so everyone can see what kind of a person they are

I would probably use that option to delete all those questions which aren't honest questions, but merely attempts to irritate people (Jim Darwin, you know who you are...)
That's not censorship, just an attempt to prevent abuse and misuse.

Yes. Truthfully Yes most definately and there is one person I would use it on gleefully as almost all of this person's answers are offensive, bigoted and homophobic, and to be honest I don't have time for that crap.

I would definitely use it because sometimes I get funky answers that I'd rather not hear... and I also don't want to lose my privledges for Yahoo! Answers if my parents see some innappropriate matter.

That wouldn't be right, people would abuse the authority. Which is why we have the "Report Abuse" option, so that we can alert someone to misconduct.

Interesting question. If that was made available (& I know it won't), it'd be abused.
Personally, I don't know. It would be a nice thing, but that function isn't ever going to be made available anyway.
