God's Sovereignty means that my day unfolds exactly as God has ordained it. Trials, suffering and joy are all included in that.

Satan can't touch me....unless God allows him to.

I'm invincible until God calls me home.

God has ordained where I live, the time in which I live on this earth, and the boundaries of my nation.
Acts 17:26 (NKJV)
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,

He has a set number of days for me..Job 14:5 (NKJV)
Since his days are determined,
The number of his months is with You;
You have appointed his limits, so that he cannot pass.

He has chosen me to be one of His sheep. He revealed himself to me...and I choose him.
Romans 8:29-30 (NKJV)
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. [30] Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

To me, God's sovereignty is as I have learned from scripture: it is his universal right, by reason of his creatorship, to rule the universe coupled with his universal right to determine what is good and what is bad, what is acceptable and what is unacceptable. It is as Revelation 4:11 reads: the true God is worthy to receive the honor, glory and power because he created all things. And it is as Isaiah 33:22 reads: "Yahweh is our Judge, Yahweh is our Statute giver, Yahweh is our King." Unlike some trifurcated governments, all three branches of authority – judicial, legislative, and executive - reside in the Sovereign Lord God Jehovah of Armies.

His right to rule His creations.
That is what Satan challenged in the Garden of Eden. Not His power, because even Satan recognizes that, but His soveignty; the right to rule. God is giving Satan the chance to try and rule and look where we are now. Can you imagine what it will be like when He rules again?Cant wait!

God can do what He wants to do, by virtue of His being God.

What will He do? Whatever He has said He will do in His Word.
