you should just use a cake pan and make a cake instead of cupcakes

You can make these delicious Cupcakes without tins they are good and the kids absoluelty love em!!
They are called "birthday cupcakes" but you can eat them at any time.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
20-24 flat-bottomed ice-cream cones
2 cans (16 oz each vanilla frosting)
colored sprinkles or sugar

Preheat oven to 350 F. Beat sugar and butter in large bowl with electric mixer on high speed. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Add to butter mixture; beat on low speed until combined. Beat mixture on high speed until batter is smooth and light, about 3 minutes.
Divide batter among ice-cream cones, filling about 3/4 full. Place cones on baking sheet. Bake until cakes spring back when centers are gently pressed, 20-25 minutes. Cool Completely.
Spread frosting on cooled cupcakes. Top with colored sprinkles or sugar to decorate.

Stores sell cupcake papercups with foil around them. They work real well and are a lot cheaper than buying pans.

Well, you can use Ice Cream cones (the ones that are flat on the bottom) -- place them carefully standing up in a 9x13 pan (it has sides to help them stand up) and cook them as normal.

you could try putting them in ice cream cones and baking, the frost the top and put on sprinkles, looks like an ice cream cone.

You could use ramikens or small coffee mugs or oven safe tea cups.
